Ohhh how I loved this story, and so happy for Brian and Emma finding their way into each other's arms. It made me so happy I kind of forgot about the shadow that is hanging over them still. You reminded me at the end when you wrote "no matter what the days would bring, they already knew that even if they couldn't save each other from the battles they were fighting- they could be there for one another through it all". I remembered that Emma is still fighting cancer and in the end, might lose her life. It made me sad to think that Brian (and Baylee) might have to face another devastating blow (listen to me - acting like this is real - I got so emotionally involved with this story lol) Great job!

Aww, I'm so glad that Leighanne assured Brian in his dream that he wasn't cheating and that it was ok to let her go and love Emma. Brian seems so fragile in this chapter and I just wanna hug him. I'm so glad he opened up to Emma in the bathroom. That's a good 1st step towards moving on. Sorry - correction: a good 2nd step cuz the 1st step was carrying Emma to the bed and passionately making love! lol I love how you used the hairy knees bit from when Brian met Leighanne in real life haha! Can't wait to read on, but must wait until tomorrow - work in the AM and it's 2AM. Do you know how hard it is for me not to read the next chapters? Aaghh!

Ahhh, I love how this played out. I can see and hear in my mind Brian dropping the bag of egg rolls as he reacted to the sight of her lol The way you described how his eyes locked onto her ,OMG I swear I could feel the intensity of that stare . . . . . Wow very hot and very lovely chapter. I want him to be happy again so much, but is he going to feel guilt and pull away? I'm going to read on and find out now lol
