I love the way you got into his head for this. One thing about your writing, you make the emotions incredibly vivid. I didn't expect you to put Nick in a wheelchair, but I love that you did. This cost Nick terribly, and I am so curious about the accident. Can't wait to see you go further with this. :)

Poor tormented, Nick, Hopefully Brian will come to understand that some things are out of ones control. Unless Nick was being reckless it wasn't his fault and the guys in a wheelchair to boot! That has to be a terrible feeling, knowing someone died while on your watch. Glad everyone else seems to get that. I see this isn't going to be a yippety skippety happy little tale. Look at Srah, getting her angst on! Nicely done. :O)

Nope. This is definitely not a fluffy fic, though there will be a teeny bit towards the end (literally, in the last chapter lol), but that's just because I love my Nick and Brian and just want them to be happy! lol As for Brian forgiving Nick, I guess that's easier said than done, right? Plus, I haven't revealed all in my crystal ball yet, so I hope that gives you enough incentive to keep reading :P

Love that you got into Nick's head in this chapter!! Poor Nick. I had a feeling it might've been a car accident; it wasn't like I thought he could have murdered Baylee in cold blood or something LOL. I wonder if he'd been drinking, or if it was just an accident because of the storm. I can understand why Brian would be upset either way, but I'm wondering if Nick actually did something wrong, or if it couldn't have been prevented.
Nice twist with the wheelchair at the end! I wonder what happened to him. I got the vibe he must have been injured pretty badly, since it said he was in no shape to attend the funeral, and I'm guessing Kate is a physical therapist or someone who takes care of him.
I'm glad I got at least once answer, but now you've given me more questions, damn you LOL. Just kidding; I love stories like this!! Can't wait for more!!

Yes! I'm glad you didn't see the wheelchair coming! I was trying to be subtle, and I'm glad I pulled it off! Yes, Kate will be explained soon, but slowly and in pieces, just like everything else in this story, including the specifics of the accident :)
