Aww, that was a really nice response Tracy! I haven't read "Figured You Out", but by the sounds of it, poor Nicky has been through hell and back! :( I'm glad Brian was able to reel him back from what he was about to do! I liked how you kept repeating the line, "I should be thankful to be alive..." I feel it's a quote, a mantra we should always tell ourselves.
Anywho, great challenge response Trac, I really enjoyed it! :)
Author's Response: I hope you do read the story someday Reb. Nick went through so much and it really affected him. I wanted to repeat that line because it made sense for him to keep thinking it...even though it wasn't what he was doing. I appreciate that you read and reviewed, thanks so much!

Aww nice job intertwining both stories, Tracy. I would think after a traumatic experience like the one he went through, everything wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows. I'm glad you did this challenge and stuck to Niick. I don't really enjoy reading about the other guys, truthfully lmao.
Author's Response: Sorry I'm so late responding to your review. You're right, when someone has a trauma like Nick suffered during FYO...it won't be rainbows afterwards. I struggled with the idea for the challenge for a while and I'm glad I chose this as well. Thanks Mare :)

I haven't read figured you out so I don't much about Valerie, and it confuses me if Nick wanted to see Valerie again or he hated her for doing bad things to him. But I am glad Brian called at the right time to save Nick. and Nick realized that he should be thankful he is still alive. :)
I'd check out Figured you out one of these days...

Really enjoyed that challenge story, well done! I know he's been through a lot at Valerie's hands, but he also has a lot to live for, I'm glad Brian made him see that.
