It is nice to see Howie getting attention... Most people don't even acknowledge him, myself being guilty of this as well. Haha. I also like that Kevin gave Joey a well deserved black eye and Emily was very classy during the interview, covering for Joey. she was nicer than I would have been lol
Author's Response: I think I've said before that one of my favorite things about this story is that the two BSBs that seem to be featured the least are the ones featured the most in this one.

Omg I can't believe Joey did that to her. I am kind of heartbroken lol. What a douche. Had to add that drunk Kevin is the best thing ever. I've seen it in person on the BSB cruise and it's hilarious. I could see him singing and everything.

Author's Response: Thanks! It made me so nervous to write this chapter, but it's a coming of age story about the main character, so I wanted to include it. I still cringe a little looking back. Lol

To be honest I didn't find this that controversial compared to the stuff that happens at VMA awards these days that is. Poor Howie. I wanted to hug him in this chapter. I blew through quite a few chapters tonight. Excited to see what happens next.
Author's Response: I just get a little worried when writing about their real-life struggles. I feel like maybe some things should be off-limits. Like Leslie's death. In my Nick series, I have no intention of ever touching that.

I was really thrown by Nick and Chrissy having a shotgun wedding in Vegas. I was impressed with how he seemed wise for his years in this chapter, it was nice

Author's Response: They are minor characters in the story, but their marriage brings about some interesting points about all of the relationships in the story, as you've read in the next couple of chapters.
