Author's Response: It's really interesting remembering how they were then and writing the interaction. It's really funny trying to remember what their maturity levels would've been like and keeping true to that. I think the weirdest part was mentioning AJ was hung over just because it's been so long that I've had AJ avoiding alcohol in stories that it was really awkward reintroducing it to his character in this chapter. This story is reminding me why I love BSB so much. Gawd, I adore them! This chapter was so sweet. I loved Brian and Nick's gifts to each other, and how they go with a theme. Brian talking about Nick's webslingers was hilarious, especially the part about how Kevin would be upset over them, haha. I also enjoyed the description of Kevin's eyebrows! Dirty brow... accurate, hah. Also, the mental image of Nick and Brian jumping around in a K-Mart when they first heard themselves on the radio is quite possibly the most adorable and hilarious thing ever. I could really see that happening. I really like how you've played up Frick and Frack so far and I'm interested to see what'll happen to their relationship as the story goes on.
Basically, everything about this chapter was fantastic! Love it, keep up the good work, update soon, etc etc etc
Author's Response: I've always enjoyed writing the Frick & Frack relationship, as you know and my writing reflects. They're a fascinating duo. I've used the KMart story a couple times in my writing when I mention them hearing it the first time (I just noticed this yesterday, after I'd already written this chapter, that it's an on going "writing quirk" of mine), so I guess I can really picture it, too!! haha ... I think last time I wrote it was for the "There's Us" story that followed Something Beautiful, but in that version they were buying shower curtain rings instead of Star Wars sheets. LOL Thanks again fo the review!!!

I love you for writing this. Just so you know.
First of all, I'm not the biggest Leighanne fan, but I really believe this was the best thing she could have done for Brian. Her giving him back the ring was so heartbreaking! As was Brian walking around looking at all the couples while he was holding it.
I loved Nick's comment! That was such a Nick thing to say, and the perfect tipping point for Brian. I loved how Nick just watched and Brian's internal thoughts when Nick asked if he was finished. Also loved Nick handing him the lamp at the end, haha. It's only the first chapter and I already love this story so much and I hope you'll update soon!

These chapters are going to be longer and more researched than my usual stories are so it probably won't be as quick as some of my stories, but maybe that's a good thing? lol Thanks so much for the review, I really really appreciated the note!
