ROTFL Loved it!!! And Brian is the one that made me laugh more because I could picture his face when asking AJ if he wanted to open Nick's box lol and then when he said that the cake did have Nick's name, I don't know why but that made me laugh like crazy. This was what I needed. I've had a rough couple of days and I needed a good laugh.
I love how they made Nick sing for his food and ate it in front of him, and how AJ wanted to fill the sound booth with water. I also like how they kept telling Nick he couldn't eat unless he finished and calling him baby-cakes. This story didn't help my craving for cake because ever since I wrote my one shot I wanted it....this just added to it :) great one mare!

This one was really sweet. I loved AJ's little commentary, and burst out laughing at his comment about how Kevin had no idea what kinds of pictures the fans wanted to see, lmao. I also enjoyed Brian being the perverted one (which I could totally see happening) and AJ thinking that they could fill up the whole recording booth with water, haha. Poor Nick. Oh also Nick's serious comment about how cake is his crack, haha! I really liked this one! Great work, Mare :)

Aww, this was cute! Not nearly as boring as you made it sound! LOL I love how you captured the whole scene around that picture of Nick singing for his cake while other the others sat around eating it in front of him LOL. This was the line that made me laugh the most: "Kevin… poor guy, he has no clue what the fans want to see." Hahaha! But I loved all the other little references you threw in too, like Rochelle's craving for ice cream and tomatoes and the studio looking like a teacher's lounge with all the mugs LOL. You also may have given someone a new death for 1000 Ways to Kill Nick Carter with the whole thing about filling the studio with water. Of course, it would have been best to do back in 2001 during the recording of "Drowning" LOL. I'm glad you're going to keep the stories coming for awhile! Go Mare!

That was quite an emotional chapter. I suppose grief does hit people differently and feelings can pop up out of the blue like that, but Nick will know when it's the right time to part with the necklace. Thank god he's got Howie and Kevin to talk to about things. And yes, that's typical of the British weather, I think the boys brought the sunshine with them, lol.

I remember the day I heard that Leslie had died,I was in shock.I remember thinking how young she was and how sad it was.Then I heard about all the drama after she died that went on with the Carter's and Nick.It was weird for me because I went through a similar situation with 2 of my brothers. We hadn't spoken in years and I recently got in contact with my sister through facebook and she told me that they had died,Both of them from drug overdoses just like Leslie.I remember feeling really sad everytime i would see an article about her death or about how Nick was dealing with it and it kinda made me angry because of comments I was reading that people would make about his appearance after his sister died.I thought to myself,"How would you look if your sister had just died and the way you found out was through your fans rather than your own family?"
Anyway,Eventhough my brothers and I werent close it was still hard for me to hear about their deaths and i did love them because they were my brothers and i am sure that is how Nick felt,And probably still feels about Leslie.That whole thing with the necklace was sweet and I like the way you wrote about Howie and how he talked to Nick about it.I am sure they were all pretty shaken up by Leslie's death and again Nick is like their little brother so I am sure they rallied around him to help him through it.This chapter was great!
It was sad but also made me laugh when Nick joked about farting lol.I can't wait to read about the cake lol.Great Job!

I am so sorry to hear about your brothers. THat really is the worst, especially when drugs are involved. There's only so much you can do when you see people you love go down that path. I bet he fela lot of guilt but in the end, it was her life and no matter what he had no conrtol of that. I am sure the guys were all there for support. The whole thing is just so sad. That's why I had to end it on a much lighter note. Nothing like a good old fashioned fart to break up a sad chapter! lmao Thanks, Tara!

Aww, this one made me tear up a little. I loved it! I like how you made it about Nick and Leslie, but from Howie's POV. That's so fitting, considering Howie went through the same thing with losing his sister. Without knowing what really went on behind the scenes, I think you nailed it with Nick and how he handled her death. The locket was a nice touch. And I thought it was sweet that Kevin knew the whole time and that, of all the guys, he was the one Nick had turned to. Aww. You did a fantastic job tackling this topic!!

I really didn't intend for this to turn into a Nick and Leslie chapter but she just kind of came from nowhere and then I did some 'research' *she says proudly lol* and noticed it's almost the 6 month anniversay of her death, and it all just kind of came out from there. I forgot she died on my birthday. Even the part about Kevin kind of just happened. I only had him show up at the end because he's in the actual set of pictures I based this on and it dawned on me that out of all of them, it's probably Kevin he would confide in. At least my fanfic version of all my Nicks lol Thanks, Julie!

I often wonder how he deals with the loss of Leslie. I didn't even literally know her; just saw her once at a concert & kinda kept tabs on her & her band. And yet, about once almost every day since it happened, I stop & think about it & all I can feel is disbelief. She was my favourite Carter after Nick - there was just something about her. And it doesn't help, my sister is around her age. When I found out she had passed, I remember telling someone, "I didn't think she'd be the first to go." Bad as it sounds, I thought it'd be BJ or Aaron for some reason.
Well, anyway, GREAT chapter!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that he had the locket & that it was suddenly found after all those years.

I think she was my favorite Carter as well, if I had to pick one. I'm not really a fan of any of them except Nick but she reminded me of him the most and seemed the most normal. I know what you mean though bvecause I thought the same exact thing. One of them dying young was never really going to surprise me. I was more surprised by the fact it was her than BJ.
