Great chapter' I sometimes do wonder if Brian is in complete denial about his technique. I hope Kevin does say something to him if that's the case. It's a breath control issue any professional vocal coach will tell him that. He probably doesn't want to hear it because he's been brainwashed to think he always sounds awesome. AJ was very Emin in this chapter lol loved his fugly tree.
Author's Response: Thanks! What I love about doing group fics right now is touching on the issues I really would love to know lol. I've wondered that a LOT lately. I mean I wish Brian still sounded as awesome as he used to but he just doesn't. Is Emin supposed to be emo? LOL. I love writing AJ, I just always have to be careful cause I slip easily from AJ to Nick when I write AJ lmao. Glad you liked the fugly tree line, I figured only AJ would say something like that haha.

I loved the new chapter! It touched on exactly what I've been thinking about, is Brian going to get a lot of lead vocals on the new album. I mean we all know his voice has been suffering so it will be interesting to see what comes out of the new album. I'm just hoping Kevin gets solos since his voice is my favourite!

I read this on my phone earlier but wasn't logged in. Wow, I'm loving it already! I like how Kevin is all unsure about how the guys are feeling, and I like that Nick had to actually think whether he really wanted him back. I'm so glad he is back though, woohoo!

I liked the way you had Kevin questioning if they'd let him back in and vocalizing all our worries about the NKOTBSB tour. Bwahaha at Joey being the only NKOTB that can sing. SOO TRUE. (Can we just all share a group CRINGE over Jordan's damn falsetto? holy God I think my ears started Bleeding at Fenway Park! Seriously!) It's funny seeing them referring to AJ, the surgery, and Lou now that I'm writing Borrowed Time. LOL!!!

Ahhhh, a Kevin/nick chapter my fav kind! I liked how wrote about how nick always felt Kevin was superior but now he hopes they are equal. Nick now reminds me of Kevin, they seem to have a lot in common. Maybe that was Kevin's influence on nick and nick looking up to him like he said in he black and blue liner notes.

I like to think Kevin's seen it, but I also feel like Nick would need to hear it. With the book, LMAO thanks. I have no idea how he remembered it since he admitted it took him years to read it. I already shared my thoughts on this chapter, but just wanted to leave a review and say again that I enjoyed it! It was interesting to see Nick's mixed feelings about Kevin's return, and his reasons for partly not wanting Kevin to come back are justified. But obviously I'm glad he accepted Kevin's return. You really showed how much Nick has grown as a person, and I'm curious to see how their dynamic might be different now that Nick is more on the same level as Kevin, as far as maturity. Great job, ZDR, keep it up!!

I find it interesting that everyone is taking it from the standpoint that he asked to return to the group versus the other way around...hmmm maybe I should write my first fanfic?
