Aw they worked through their own relationship junk. Okay now I see why Britney won't go back with Niall. It really was never going to work with him, Nick had a point. I kind of don't want them to hook up, really I don't. I don't know what it is but I don't want the love interests to end up together. *shrugs*
Author's Response: Nope, it was likely never going to end up working with him, not while he is so based in Europe and she spends most of her time in the states. They're not really love interests at this point in the story, so we'll see what happens!

LOL, I think he finally met the one person who can resist the Carter charm!
It's good to see them both open up and be honest about their feelings for their ex's. Maybe now they can be better friends, which may lead to more :)

Nick can be very astute when he doesn't realize. I love how even while slightly intoxicated he can manage to read right through how Brittany and Niall broke up. I liked how she got him away from everyone and the whole "men are pigs" comment....it sounds very much like something one would say after a break up. I also felt bad for Nick after he told her the truth and think he brought her along for company, because it seems like he and the guys aren't getting along well since the Lauren situation.
I also think Nick is slightly creepy in this and I somewhat like reading him like this ;) awesome update Steph!
Author's Response: I agree, I think Nick definitely has these smart moments where he's quite intuitive. I had originally thought that maybe Nick shouldn't have figured it out so easily, but in recent years he's been a lot more articulate in interviews and has seemed like he's better about picking up on things. I enjoyed writing her getting him away from everyone, haha! That part was really fun. I definitely think she'd be thinking that men were pigs after what happened and how Nick's been acting on the cruise (maybe not necessarily towards her, but just in general) I feel so bad for Nick in this story! I just want to hug him, even if he is being slightly creepy LOL. Thanks for the review, Tracy! I'm glad you liked it! :)
