I wonder if he really did throw it or if he said he would. She walked away, he might keep it for later if she really decides to go back. No, she and Nick definitely should not hook up. Nick is a cheater and she left Niall for that, it would definitely make her a hypocrite if she hooked up with Nick knowing his past.
Author's Response: Interesting theory! I'm not sure Nick would be so forward thinking but we'll see! I like your point about how Nick's a cheater and she left Niall for the same reason, you're right that hooking up with him would make her a total hypocrite.

Aw Howie is so sweet. I love how in most stories he is the one who understands Nick and won't judge him. I'm glad Nick told him why he brought Brittany.
However, Brittany needs to move on like Nick said, she seems like she really needs to distract herself from it. I like that Nick is trying to help her and not get in her pants, its very sweet of him to talk to her. (although he does seem like a creep at times ;) lol) its nice that they have each other because now they're seeing their breakups from the other person's point of view. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: I think he's really like that in real life too - the one who understands Nick and is the least judgmental of him. I really love writing about Howie and Nick together. I'm glad Nick told him too - now maybe the guys will get off his back a little? lol we'll see. I think Brittany needs to move on too, but she sucks at that, especially anything concerning Niall she just makes REALLY bad decisions. I like that Nick is trying to help her too, I think that's definitely the older brother side of him coming out - even if he's a bit creepy. Poor creepy Nick lol. I like how you mentioned that they're seeing the breakups from the other person's point of view because it's so true, and I'm glad that came across. Thanks Tracy :)
