Nick is super grumpy and I don't think it is just about the wedding stuff or Brian or Leighanne. He's worried that now they are around Brittany's friends she will leave him or he will be left out. He's worried about losing her, which is cute but he needs to stop being so jealous. I can't wait for him and Niall to be in the same room, the anticipation of the drama is killing me. Author's Response: Yes, I think you're completely right about Nick and that he's worried about being left out and possibly losing her! He really does need to stop being jealous and just like admit his feelings (whatever they are) to her. But he's pretty stubborn so we'll see if he just wallows in his own self pity instead lol. Nick needs to tell her before the wedding and I hope they get together soon you feel the pain Nick feels with the wedding and worried Brittiany will go back with Niall. So maybe he's jealous cause of the ring and wants to do something like that for Brittany one day.

Awwww these two are just so blind. I can't wait for when they finally admit their feelings for each other, because it is obvious they are heavily in denial. They're both afraid I think of getting hurt again. As for the wedding, I kind of think Niall will start some drama. I can't wait to see what happens next :) great update!

I don't like al lthis talk of the Farewell tour - lol. It makes me nervous. Though, I'm forever holding them to "as long as there be music we'll be coming back again". To me that is a promise & is one promise they are never allowed to break.

Hehehe Brittany is starting to fall for Nick. He was really adorable in this chapter, I don't think he realizes how smart he can be sometimes. The whole convo about chinese food and sushi made me want some. I also like that he was opening up a bit to her and they understand each other as well. I think they are getting closer.
PS I also agree Nick has a very kissable looking face, I can see why she thought that :)

Author's Response: He's kind of impossible not to fall for, right?! lol. I really enjoy writing adorable and slightly aloof Nick. I was eating Chinese food while I wrote that beginning part, that's probably why they ended up talking about it so much haha! I think you're right that they're getting closer. That's what I really wanted to show with the Christmas stuff (plus do a bit of set-up) Nick really does have a kissable looking face. It's so not fair! Thanks Tracy :)

This was a really cute chapter. I like that they seem to be bonding because it sounds like their lives are pretty similar. From their breakups to their family stuff, and I think talking it out like they are doing will benefit both of them. I liked the whole talk about Rudolph because that was a tradition of mine too. I still do it at christmas, although I also can't get through it without watching The Grinch.
I like that you laid in the "we can use the egg nog later" part ;) sneaky. Looking forward to more, I like her better with Nick than with Niall lol!
Author's Response: Yeah, their lives are pretty similar because I sort of based her off Nick when I first created her lol. I think they can definitely relate to each other, and that it's a good basis for their friendship, that they understand each other so well. I always watch Rudolph too! It's my favourite. My family always says it's narrated by "Uncle Burl" lol. Haha you guys and the eggnog theories. I kind of like her better with Nick too lol. Thanks Tracy! :)
