I think Nick would want to see Brittany happy too. It's obvious they've both grown up since they split up, and maybe now is the right time for things to work out with Niall.
Just a shame Nick never found the right person and things were only platonic with Brittany :(
Looking forward to seeing how they move on from here.

*sighs* That was just so romantic, the way he went out onto the beach to check she was OK, and then talking and kissing. Just perfect.
Still gutted about Nick though :( But at least she's got people around her to help.

Awww Niall was so cute. I liked that he went to go check up on her and she finally admitted she's not ok. Poor thing. She and Nick were so close, I bet that its like part of her is missing. I am probably the only one who kinda wants her and Niall to hook up again ;) great update Steph!

Omg :( I had to read this at work and Falling Down always makes me cry, even if I'm just reading lyrics. I also agree Is It Saturday Yet is not the best writing lol but it's cute. It is no wonder why Nick likes ITO better.
I love that they sat on the deck of Nick's house drinking wine like she used to do with him, its kind of like a tribute to him in a way.
Also, I really liked the bit about 21 year old Nick being similar to a 12 year old, that was pretty accurate....and I liked her watching videos of him when he was younger. Great chapter, can't wait for more :)
Author's Response: Awww sorry to make you cry with Falling Down! Yeah I agree Is It Saturday Yet is good for a laugh if nothing else, that Aaron Carter part always gets me though. I can definitely agree with Nick that ITO is much better, haha!
