Ok so I WAS right about him being sicker than he let on. Wow. I never expected this to happen so soon, and it came so suddenly....like "Nick's dead" I went WTF and yelled at my phone screen. The convo Brittany remembered was probably deeper than she though, and its so sad she didn't really get to say goodbye, but at least he went without pain. Can't wait to see more, and don't worry I'm still friends lol
Author's Response: Yep you were right.. you thought it was sudden now, like I said on Yahoo, the original draft didn't even have the lead up. Just BAM! Nick's dead! lol. The convo with Nick was deeper than she thought. More will sort of come of that later. I'm sad she didn't get to say goodbye also, but the Nick stuff's not totally done yet. The whole convo with Nick and Kevin was very sweet. I don't think this heart thing is as simple as he is letting on, and why he's afraid to get closer to Brittany or admit he still has feelings for her. While he may not be in love with her I feel that attraction is there. Nick's afraid of whatever is coming soon, and I have a feeling that he's really sicker than he's letting on. He's hiding quite a bit and I picked up on that. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: I think you're right that he is hiding something and not feeling as awesome as he lets on to everyone else. i think you're also right that there is probably some level of attraction there between the two of them. Aw poor Nick, I'm not liking the chest pains at all and hope that he's OK. Nice for him to spend some time with Kev though, I'm glad that they are still close all these years later. All that talk of when they were famous, makes me wonder how much they are missing it.

THAT WAS PRETTY GREAT TWO CHAPTERS I MUST SAY>> it scares me that nick is having thechest pains and heart problems again.. i hope he is alright... i also reallly really hope that since air has been cleared of niall and britt that maybe they will each move and get over one another because all joking aside i think nick and brit have feelings for one another .. i think they have a special friendship ad i wouldn't bee so suprised if that was a love confession there on the phone... oh and i agree with a few other reviewers and i have to say i am really hope this has a backstreet happy ending not a one direction happy ending considereing it is about NICK CARTER lol okay keep em coming either way its been great..update soon plz

I'm glad Nick is okay for now. Key words "For now". LOL but anyways, Brittany has every right to feel guilty but she shouldn't because Nick didn't tell anyone anything was wrong like an idiot. I also wonder why Brian would just randomly be calling if the two of them were no longer close....lots of weird things but I hope that they get answered soon. also the ending made me nervous. Can't wait!
