Ok, here's what I think happened....Chris has figured out the app thing too apparently. So, either had one of his cronies take his phone back to LA OR he has mailed it back which would explain why it was saying it was in Chicago. As for finding them, he either found out from when Ashley had her phone on OR from when Nick Instagramed the picture of the ring and left his location on...AGAIN...lol
GAH!!! I really can NOT wait to see what really transpires IN the damn store!! Now we have to wait thru an After chapter to find out!!!!
My only question is, after we find this all out, what happened and all, are we gonna see Nick and Ashley...thru the years? Is the story somehow going to catch up with the present like all the other stories? I wanna see births of the babies and their lives together!

Even though it was a brief chapter, I really liked this one! My grandmother often talks about when she can feel that my grandfather is around. I'm sad, though, that Nick and Ashley don't seem to have any grandbabies.
Author's Response: All the kids except Leslie traveled to be there, though. I feel like Zoey is married without kids, but Oliver probably has a partner somewhere with an adopted child. I feel like that's why he was the last to get to the house. He just didn't bring his significant other/kid with him... LOL Nothing like creating backstory on the fly in a review response. ;D

I have a feeling we are close to the end of the story though and and that makes me sad I really enjoy reasoning about these characters. You've done a great job writing them. I can't wait to read more!

I had a feeling that Ashley pretty much knew how to shoot..given her upbringing. Which is why I said Ashley when you tweeted the question..lol
Ok..been thinking about this a bit and my theory, so far, is:
1. As she ran into the store she already had the gun because she must have seen Chris. She shoots Chris but the bullet goes straight thru him and into Nick.
