OMG nice twist... The find my phone app, I never would've thought of that! Also, gun control laws in the U.S are ridiculous :/ I'm not against responsible gun ownership, but the ease of acquiring a firearm is just ridiculous, and I totally agree with Ashley that two guns are more dangerous than one.

Awww, Ashley's last line made me really sad :( when you first came up with the idea for this series, did you imagine Chris was going to be so terrifying and evil?
Author's Response: Funny you should ask that. Originally Chris wasn't even IN the story. Then I added him in because Ashley needed somebody at the house to interact with and bring her attention to the news on TV. In the first outline of the story that did include Chris, he was use only as a catalyst to make Nick see how he felt. Even once Ashley was WITH Chris, he wasn't initially intended to be the monster he became. I chose to skew Chris when I wrote the intro to Landing and the idea that he and Nick had a fight came into play. Throughout the entirety of Landing, I built Chris's abusive personality brick by brick in a slow, subtle fashion so that the opening of Leave would be shocking, but still completely traceable through the stories. Chris's character was not, however, originally intended to be in Love. It wasn't until I got complaints that his arrest in Leave wasn't harsh enough that I decided to carry him over. I probably should've added one more story as Love is going to end up being longer than the other Nick & Dogface stories, but oh well! Live and Learn. ;)
