Thank you both for the wonderful update. There is so much of J in this story, it's like spending time with him again when I read it. I love reading about Nick and Kevin's day to day lives but I'm also curious about what's going on with Nick's dad. It has to be something good.

Thank you for the wonderful update. It's very intriguing to see how this is progressing. Why did Kevin freeze just because Nick leaned his head on Kevin's shoulder? Why doesn't Nick seem to be happy that he's home? I'm looking forward to what the rest of the story will bring. Hopefully we'll see chapter 3 soon. Yes I'm greedy. Btw great name for the restaurant. :)

First, yeah, for an update! Secondly, I'm glad we got some Nick and Corey bonding! "They were both aware of Nick avoiding mentioning anything about being happy he’s home." Is Nick a little anxious about being home after his miscarriage? I really want to learn more about the relationship between Kevin and Jerald. Jerald seems to coddle Nick; but with Kevin, he seems tougher. And speaking of relationships with dads, will we get Nick and his dad next update? One of the reasons I love your stuff is the simple "day in the life" aspect you add. Thanks for that....it makes the characters more approachable, I guess is the word.
Again, thanks for sharing this story, Cole and CJ. Let's not wait so long for an update, next time. Don't make me nag you!

Author's Response: Hey Pammy, Nick is just anxious about being home in general, it's a whole new chapter of his life. In my head I call Jerald a meanie sometimes over how he behaves with Kevin. Well you got what you wanted, chapter three has a little bit of Nick with his dad. I'm traveling for the next two weeks so the next update will be post the 5th of December.

Okay....I'm going to try not to "remember" the previous "An Ideal Marriage?"! So, it appears that Nick has had a miscarriage, right? I like the way you handled the support given to him by his friends....subtle and supportive without offering condolences. Awwww...I missed Corey. I love his and Nick's interactions. And AJ and Brian with a baby....sweet! I'm looking forward to reading more.
