I love that Howie came along with Nick to help take care of him and all the loose ends he kept forgetting. Poor Annie; I can't imagine getting that kind of news. At least she has her brother and Nick (and Drew) - otherwise, she's lost everyone she loves! Sounds like whoever did this knew what they were doing. If they cleaned up the crime scene that well, it doesn't sound like a robbery gone wrong to me (not that I ever would have that it was something random like that). It was definitely pre-meditated. I'm curious to find out what's coming next!
Author's Response: I'm excited to show you what happens next, but still some work to do on the next chapter, unfortunately! If only I could sit around all day writing. lol. Howie is definitely one of my favorite people to write!

Once again, fantastic descriptions! I'm sure you're probably getting tired of me always telling you that, but it's true! I also love how your characterization of Howie not only in this one but Forever as well. He is that great and caring friend that you always want around. If I didn't know that you were a Kevin girl, I would completely think Howie was your favorite! I'm curious to know why Annie's parents were killed. Why would someone want to hurt her enough to do that? Unless it is her. Hrmmm... Great update!
Author's Response: LOL. I love your little conspiracy theories that Annie is the villain. Also, though Kevin is definitely my favorite, Howie has been a very close second for most of my BSB life. Nick is actually a pretty new development. I definitely see Howie as that great friend you always want to have around. Thanks as always, Mare!
