LMAO I love that he ended up in this mess cause a fan used his name. (well probably a fan). I really love all the detail and thought you've put into this. I know it's a crossover but even without knowing it I can picture this in my head.

So, is this evengalion the crossover element of the story? Or did you make this thing up yourself? Either way what a freaky sounding thing! I loved how Nick wanted to call Brian just for some normalcy. I couldn't even imagine having to keep that kind of secret, I'd go nuts!! And speaking of nuts...I can totally see one of Nick's lunatic fans entrusting him to save the planet because he's hot! Althought the fact that NERV had originally picked that lunatic (she might not be a fan but that's kind of what I'm gathering) doesn't really put my faith in their overall judgement as well. LOL
Author's Response: The Evangelion and NERV are the crossover parts of the story, yep. It is a freaky thing! That's why I felt it was perfect to write a story with Nick having to pilot one LOL. I'm glad you liked the Brian part because I was unsure a bit about it when I wrote it, given the stress on their relationship during that time period. Love your theory about NERV and not having faith in them. Nick clearly doesn't have much faith in them either lol so we'll see what happens. Thanks Mare! :)

So he's there because a fan chose him to replace her. .. or at least that's how I took it. Lol love how he connects to the Evagalin. I was hoping it was something like that. Really liking and can't wait for more.

This is quickly getting bizarre, but I mean that in a good way - it's interesting! I applaud you for being creative enough to pull off a sci-fi; I could never come up with this stuff! I'm very curious about the original pilot who named Nick as her backup. Why? Was she just a BSB fan (LOL) or is there a bigger reason he was chosen? So many questions in my head! Keep up the great work; this story is very descriptive and well-written!
