WOLF WOLF WOLF! Or bear?! LMAO I won't rest until there's an animal attack! Knowing you, it's probably just an angry groundhog. I like how you let Howie be the hero in this one, but I also like how he's a realistic hero - afraid of being out in the dark woods by himself, constantly questioning his decisions, etc. That is totally how I would be in this situation, too. Glad to see you're still on a roll with this!
Author's Response: How about a plague carrying rabid squirrel? Would that work for you? Howie is trying so hard to be a hero and I would do the same thing too if I were him. I feel bad for him because even though I didn't write it that way, I pictured Howie dropping the flashlight and screaming like a girl as he flailed his arms and ran into the woods. I was like "Hrmm maybe I won't describe what I'm seeing for this scene!" lmao Thanks, Julie!

I mean the woods are pretty big there's plenty of room for wolves to roam around. LOL If that even is a wolf and not just Howie's imagination. :OP
