Oh god Mare. I almost had a heart failure twice during this chapter LOL. I was cheering on Kevin and then I wanted Howie to just whack Tim already!!! Why can't the wolves come back and take care of Tim so Howie doesn't have to.use the poker???

Impulsive, clever Howie! and I thought he stormed out of the bedroom carrying the piece of wood or the arrow and ready to kill Tim, but he has other plans! Yay for him making Tim sip that coffee. It kinda sucks that Tim misunderstood him and ready to kill Nick.

I hope you finish that chapter you're working on, and I do hope it's an interlude one. I think I can wait one more week before finding out if Howie successfully stopped Tim from Killing Nick but not the stuff those agents found out about Tim. I'm dying to know if they have an idea who they are dealing with. :)

Author's Response: Well the good news is, the one I am working on is an interlude chapter! The bad news is, I'm writing ahead of myself so the next one to be posted is a resolution to what just happened. The interlude chapter will be posted next week, unless I don't finish it in which case you'd have to wait one more week since it's chapter 35. lol I know it seems odd but I know myself and once I allow myself to catch up, the updates will be fewer and further apart. So, Tim will have to remain a mystery for just a while longer (not to say that you'll find out anymore in the interlude. hrmmm lol) thanks, Ritz!

I'm still reading!!! OMG This story gets better & better with each chapter! I'm anxious to see if I'm correct with Nick's diagnosis :) Love the big brother Kevin moments. Howie feels he needs to be the hero since he's the only one that's not hurt. I hope the next chapter is up soon!

Now that's what I call great timing! You posted the new chapter as I was getting ready to go to bed! Great bedtime story, no suspense at all *coughs*

I gotta say you still amaze me. Your writing skills are something to die for. I really wish I could have an ounce of the same qualities you have. Your descriptions of the events happening during this chapter are so vivid, I have to remind myself that it isn't real, the guys are safe and Tim is a fictional character. Great job as always!

I sure hope Howie will knock him out cold and not trip over his own feet (although it wouldn't surprise me, seeing how successful his actions have been during this story).

On a side note; I know I promised you an update on "Fireflies", but something dramatic happened to one of my three colleagues, so that has taken up a lot of my time. But I am working on it, I promise!

Author's Response: Wow, I don't even know what to say. That was a really great compliment coming from you who I do consider a great writer yourself! I guess this story isn't the best thing to read before bed, huh? At least there's nothing spooky? That's what I would have a hard time with. Creepy I could do, not spooky though! I'm glad the descriptions read as vivid. I really hope that you guys do see what I see while I'm writing this thing. Sometimes they are harder than others, so I'm glad it seems realistic enough that you have to remind yourself it isn't happening. I bet the boys are kind of grateful for that too! Poor Howie...maybe this will be the beginning of his luck changing? Maybe? I don't think Nick can take much more, he really needs to get out of there and somehow get some medical attention. I have to laugh at Tim thinking pain killers are the answer to everything.

I loved heroic Howie, he really took control and seemed to calm Tim down, until the part about putting Nick out of his misery. I just hope that cold coffee had enough stuff in it to slow him down when the poker comes for him :)

Author's Response: After seeing how everyone wanted to see the fire poker used, I couldn't resist. LOL I aim to please now let's just hope that Howie's aim is better than his judgement has been! I actually laughed when I had Tim talk about killing Nick because Howie convinced him too. That poor guy just can NOT catch a break! And yes, pain killers are Tim's version of duck tape.
