Impulsive, clever Howie! and I thought he stormed out of the bedroom carrying the piece of wood or the arrow and ready to kill Tim, but he has other plans! Yay for him making Tim sip that coffee. It kinda sucks that Tim misunderstood him and ready to kill Nick.
I hope you finish that chapter you're working on, and I do hope it's an interlude one. I think I can wait one more week before finding out if Howie successfully stopped Tim from Killing Nick but not the stuff those agents found out about Tim. I'm dying to know if they have an idea who they are dealing with. :)

Author's Response: Well the good news is, the one I am working on is an interlude chapter! The bad news is, I'm writing ahead of myself so the next one to be posted is a resolution to what just happened. The interlude chapter will be posted next week, unless I don't finish it in which case you'd have to wait one more week since it's chapter 35. lol I know it seems odd but I know myself and once I allow myself to catch up, the updates will be fewer and further apart. So, Tim will have to remain a mystery for just a while longer (not to say that you'll find out anymore in the interlude. hrmmm lol) thanks, Ritz!

Awww poor Kevin and Howie feeling so guilty. I can understand why and I loved the part where Kevin kept saying no no no, I could really visualize how bad off Nick was.
Author's Response: Thanks, Tracy! I started to write out an answer then I realized I received this review from you yesterday as well, how odd. So I decided to respond to it anyway just in case you did send out chapter 32 feedback and this came to me instead or if it just randomly popped up twice for no reason. It has happened before but usually they show up one after the other. This one waited for hours LOL

I'm still reading!!! OMG This story gets better & better with each chapter! I'm anxious to see if I'm correct with Nick's diagnosis :) Love the big brother Kevin moments. Howie feels he needs to be the hero since he's the only one that's not hurt. I hope the next chapter is up soon!

Finish, finish, finish!!! lol These last two chapters man...puttin' me through it. My heart is beating like crazy reading these chapters, poor Nicky, they'll protect him, but man is he in bad shape. I don't like it. I want to know what else happened in the truck too. *sigh* Soo much...love the Kevin/Nick moments by the way, as always.

Now that's what I call great timing! You posted the new chapter as I was getting ready to go to bed! Great bedtime story, no suspense at all *coughs*
I gotta say you still amaze me. Your writing skills are something to die for. I really wish I could have an ounce of the same qualities you have. Your descriptions of the events happening during this chapter are so vivid, I have to remind myself that it isn't real, the guys are safe and Tim is a fictional character. Great job as always!
I sure hope Howie will knock him out cold and not trip over his own feet (although it wouldn't surprise me, seeing how successful his actions have been during this story).
On a side note; I know I promised you an update on "Fireflies", but something dramatic happened to one of my three colleagues, so that has taken up a lot of my time. But I am working on it, I promise!
Author's Response: Wow, I don't even know what to say. That was a really great compliment coming from you who I do consider a great writer yourself! I guess this story isn't the best thing to read before bed, huh? At least there's nothing spooky? That's what I would have a hard time with. Creepy I could do, not spooky though! I'm glad the descriptions read as vivid. I really hope that you guys do see what I see while I'm writing this thing. Sometimes they are harder than others, so I'm glad it seems realistic enough that you have to remind yourself it isn't happening. I bet the boys are kind of grateful for that too! Poor Howie...maybe this will be the beginning of his luck changing? Maybe? LOL Also really glad to hear you're working on an update to "Fireflies" But I'm sorry to hear that something happened to your co-workers. :O(

I don't think Nick can take much more, he really needs to get out of there and somehow get some medical attention. I have to laugh at Tim thinking pain killers are the answer to everything.
I loved heroic Howie, he really took control and seemed to calm Tim down, until the part about putting Nick out of his misery. I just hope that cold coffee had enough stuff in it to slow him down when the poker comes for him :)
Author's Response: After seeing how everyone wanted to see the fire poker used, I couldn't resist. LOL I aim to please now let's just hope that Howie's aim is better than his judgement has been! I actually laughed when I had Tim talk about killing Nick because Howie convinced him too. That poor guy just can NOT catch a break! And yes, pain killers are Tim's version of duck tape. Go Howie!! I'm so glad he's going to confront him, hopefully it will all end well, with no one else getting hurt...well I won't mind if Tim does get that arrow through the heart :)
I think if Tim had treatment for his mental condition, he probably wouldn't have turned out the way he has. It's quite sad really.

first of all, yay for posting early. It's saturday afternoon here and I thought you'd be posting later (saturday evening for me). And another yay for tomorrow's update. :)
Howie-Kevin scenes are always a bit awkward for me, maybe because I see them both as the big brothers of the group and they supposed to comfort the younger ones not each other. But this chapter is good and actually worth the one week wait even though I was hoping for anothet interlude chapter, I'm dying to know what Pat and robert found out about timmy.
This will end soon? do you mind telling us how many chapters left? But if it will ruin the element of surprise, it's okay don't tell me. lol
Howie, I do believe in you. you might be able to knock out tim for a while but the three of you won't get far. Remember Nick passed out and Kevin's ankle is swollen. They're both 6 footer. lol
Author's Response: Howie and Kevin scenes are just as awkward to write for the very same reason but in this story I have tried to spread the love and bonding as much as possible to try to please everyone. You have your Brian, AJ, Kevin scenes and then Nick and Howie, and of course Nick and Kevin and now Howie and Kevin. Perhaps later some other pairings and bonding will occur but that was purposeful. As far as how many chapters, just one more! LMAO JUST KIDDING!! Honestly, I couldn't even answer that question if you wanted me to because I have no clue. I don't outline or anything I just have a vague idea of scenes etc... when I started this thing I thought I'd be done within 25 so shows you how much I know. I was so glad to see you posted early!
Of course I still love this story, but I really hope the guys will be alright. With every chapter I read, Tim's craziness seems to have increased immensely, but yet he remains likeable. So that's a big compliment coming your way, cause it means your writing skills rock!
