WOLVES!!! Yes! I hope this goes all Cujo now, with the Boys unable to leave the van even if they wanted to because of the bloodthirsty wolves outside! Love it. I also liked the dynamic of the conversation they were having before the wolves showed up, how AJ was getting on their nerves by verbalizing all their worst fears, until Brian and Kevin started annoying him by sharing memories of Nick and Howie like they were already dead. You're doing a great job imagining the types of conversations one might have in that situation. I am sad your updates are going to slow down, but at least it means I won't fall so far behind so quickly LOL.

LOL I had to bring the wolves back because things were getting too easy for those van guys! Thanks for the compliment about the conversation. It's been fun trying to channel them and how I felt like they might react in this situation. I'm sad I'm slowing down too but at least as of right this second, I am 6 chapters ahead of myself so I feel good knowing that it'll take a while to catch up with myself! Well, of course you didn't resolve the cliffy you left in the last chapter with the gun going off LOL, but I liked this chapter anyway. I wondered about that teenager who might have recognized Nick in the Target parking lot, so I'm glad she really did and is going to do something about it. This gives me hope!
Author's Response: Well, yeah....duh! LOL I really was hesitant to stick this chapter in there but I needed some way to let everyone know what was going on so there will be a few more of these types of chapters coming up. Yay to Hope! :O)

I really liked this chapter and all the Tim back story that was revealed, while still moving the overall story forward. I can't help but feel sorry for Tim; you've made him a very sympathetic villain. I did laugh at the thought of him trying to build a cage for "a pet bear or deer." I'm surprise he never found a wolf, but at least now he has a pet Backstreet Boy! I knew poor Nick wasn't gonna get far with that gun; it's too early for him to shoot Tim. I wonder how far Howie is from the cabin, or if he's just been walking in circles this whole time. I'm glad I have a couple more chapters to read!

I did not have any time to read this week, so I'm finally catching up on all the chapters I missed! Tim reminds me of Annie Wilkes from Misery, which is a compliment because she is one of my favorite villains in published fiction. I enjoyed him once again in this chapter! Poor Nick... at least he is realizing something is really wrong with him, not that he can do anything about it, except try to convince Tim. I guess it'd be better for Nick's mental state if he were still oblivious to how badly he might be hurt. It was so sad to imagine him thinking of the guys, wishing they were there to protect him, yet not wanting them to come after him and get shot. Great chapter! Reading on!

Author's Response: LOL I picture Tim looking like a cross between Nick and Brian. I did describe him earlier on and when I did I kind of pictured the curly haired Brian from about 10 years or so ago but with Nick's height and build. Hope that helps a little. You can picture him however you like though, just I needed a reason for this girl to take his picture and I figured if he looked like one of the guys, that would do it. Thanks Mandy! I was wondering who was going to end up getting to the police first... As for my last review, I wouldn't necessarily go so far as to call Tim "lovable" or even almost lovable, he's def. cray-cray. lol But... his creepiness just makes me intrigued to see what's next.

I kind of feel sorry for Tim, but then at the same time I also think he's crazy. His upbringing definitely contributed to his craziness, who knows what kind of man he'd be if he'd had a normal life and treatment for his schizophrenia type disorder.
