Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I thought about having her deny it, but their entire relationship was based on telling each other things and I think that when he confronted her she would've felt obligated to tell him the truth because of that foundation they had built. I don't think we've seen the last of Lauren yet in this story...

Wow ... Lauren has some serious issues. She certainly succeeded in breaking Nick's heart. We'll see if she continues to be happy with her decision as time goes on. I would be willing to bet that she tries to win Nick back.
I'm super happy that Matty gets to spend Christmas at home!! I would also be willing to bet that Nick is going to make it the best Christmas that the little guy has ever had! :)
Author's Response: I'm in agreement with Abbey about Lauren - she'd have to be nuts to cheat on Nick! But I'm pretty sure we haven't heard the last of Lauren... I'm excited to write Matty's Christmas at home it's going to be a lot of fun. ;)

Lauren sucks. I guess she watched that movie with Tom Cruise as a cop who gets arrested before committing a crime one too many times. "I cheated on you because you will cheat on me in the future."
And she isn't even a blonde.
I hope Matty gets his 5 star rated wish!
Author's Response: lol Tom Cruise. Oh boy. I think Lauren's defensive mechanism is crap, but it's something people really do - trying to sabotage something they think it's falling apart so they can control it's demise... I hope Matty gets his 5-star wish, too.
