Where to begin?? I suppose that I should start at the beginning. LOL First, I was somewhat reluctant to give this story a chance simply because of the "slash" content. However, I read the prequel and I have to say that you did an excellent job at portraying Nick and Howie's emotions/behaviours/thoughts, etc. Now on to this story (and to this chapter in particular)! OMG! I am honestly trying to imagine what I would do if I were in Leigh's position. I can't even fathom being in such a heart-wrenching situation. Poor Holden! I wonder how this will translate in terms of Nick. I have a feeling that if you've already gone this far that you will take it to the next level and have Nick be infected as well. To make a long story short, I am now fully invested in this story and I can't wait for the next update!!

Well, first of all: Holy angst, Julie! Second, the thought actually crossed my mind when she called it "some specific type of pneumonia." I pretty much knew what would happen when she said they were worried about his immune system. I'm a medical person, a family member of mine has HIV-- it's just where my mind goes to.

So I thought HIV after the whole gay club thing was mentioned because you said it wasn't cancer. Then I thought no she wouldn't do that via a baby. By now I know you well enought to go with my first thought with you and say of course she would.

Picture at the end is amaze. Can't wait to see where this goes. Poor Holden, Poor Leigh...Poor Nick! Poor Howie, I guess LOL.
I don't have much else to say other than that was completely shocking and unexpected. I assumed that Holden was going to die, I never assumed it be in this way or have impacts like this. Enjoyed this chapter a lot and eagerly looking forward to the next!
