I was so excited to see a new chapter and hope you've settled into your new place OK.
I hope Leigh does sort her medication out and doesn't just focus on Holden and forget about herself. She needs to stay strong. I still feel so sorry for Howie though, poor guy makes a mistake and loses everything, but I also understand why. It's a huge deal and not something easily forgiven.
The rest of the band will be more curious now won't they. I wonder how they'll explain it without going into the details.

I feel so so bad for Howie because he kind of has nobody, although his sister is givng him encouraging words- Leigh is being kind of a bitch honestly. I liked the exchange with the two of them, I think it would play out like that if something like this actually happened God forbid.
Nick has kind of a right to be pissy but he didn't have to act like that, I think he is overreacting a bit. Again poor Howie. I have to agree with Howie that eventually Nick won't be able to hide his condition much longer. Great chapter Julie. Nice to see you back again :)
Author's Response: We didn't know each other when I was writing Broken/BMS, but I always made a habit out of naming medical people after readers who gave me feedback. I knew this one was going to have lots of medical people too, so... here we go again! Thanks for your support! :) Yeah, poor Howie feeling the hate on all sides. I can't blame either Leigh or Nick for reacting the way they are; I think they would naturally be angry and upset, but it's not like Howie knowingly did this to them either. So, I just berated you about updating this story in a response to one of the reviews that you left for me. I should have checked the Most Recent page first apparently. LOL
Anyways, I'm thrilled that you updated! There were so many things in this chapter that pulled at my heartstrings that it's hard for me to comment on all of them. I suppose what got to me the most was the "I dreamed of Nick" line. I don't know why, but that was the most powerful line of the whole chapter for me.

Whoa I like the exchange between Leigh and Howie, it's a nice way to touch on their relationship. I can't believe Nick punched Howie lol. Though I don't blame him #RedRibbonForHowie
