Sorry I haven't reviewed in so long. I feel terrible. I've been reading but haven't had a chance to collect and write one. But I want to smack Howie. Why why why Howard. But I can understand why he did what he did, and I'm glad Nick was there for him. It's only going downhill from here though. Poor Howie. But on the plus side he has people who still support him even though he's being an idiot.

I started reading this yesterday and I honestly didn't know what I was gonna think about it, but once I started reading it, I couldn't stop reading it and now you've got me hooked. There's such depth of emotion with just the right amount of drama mixed into this, not to mention the realism of the situation if something like this were to actually happen. Sorry that I waited until now to review, but I wanted to wait until I got caught up first. Hope to see you update soon! Keep up the good work! :)

I appreciate what you said about the emotion and realism. I worried the whole premise would be over the top, so I'm glad it's something people are able to buy into enough to enjoy. Thanks again!

I keep saying poor Howie, and right now, I'm sat here thinking poor Howie once again.
I can sort of understand the way he feels, his wife doesn't want him, he's got HIV and given it to others, and feels like there's nothing to live for. But I hope something or someone can change his mind before it's too late. He's still got so much to do in life, he can't give up!
I'm glad the nurse jabbed him with the syringe before he had a chance to escape. Maybe Nick will be the one he listens to? If Nick ever plucks up the courage to visit him.

Hmmmmm so I'm thinking that Howie will change his mind about getting the liver transplant and the only way he will be able to have it is from a living donor. None of the other guys will be a match except for - wait for it - NICK!! HAHA Am I right?? :P Seriously though, I enjoyed this chapter. I really felt for Howie; wanting to leave the hospital and see his kids. Like I've said before, the way in which you present Howie's internal struggles comes across as very realistic. Eagerly awaiting the next update!!
