Omg! The bit with James and Holden was so sad! As a mom, that totally killed me. I can't even imagine. Ugh! I love that you brought all of the guys back for this; so fitting that they're the only ones there - just the five of them.
I was enjoying all of the updates and now you leave me hanging like this?? Are you trying to give me heart failure?? Where is the update?! Haha
Author's Response: That's the part that got to me the most, too, Howie talking to James and Holden. That "Big Star Little Star" show Howie and James did last week just made it worse! Ahh! You know I had to bring all the boys back before the end of the story. Thanks!

Oh my god this was so sad :( Nick finally acknowledging Howie as his partner was so bittersweet - finally Nick has accepted their relationship and it's all ending. I loved how Howie was describing Nick throughout this, that he was just shutting down. But Nick really did come through here. It was nice that Howie chose him to have power of attorney. And the other guys ribbing Nick about it was funny - though I did feel kind of bad for Nick while that was happening. Like he's not going through enough, lol. Howie talking to his kids and to Leigh was sad too. Ugh, just sad all around! And you ended it with such uncertaintly - is this the last thing Howie's ever going to see? I feel like it probably is, considering we've only got one chapter to go. But maybe he'll make a miraculous recovery! Love it.
Oh also, you'll be amused to know that when I was reading yesterday's update my husband asked me what I was reading, so I told him. This morning as we were getting ready for work he casually says to me, "I feel really bad for Howie's wife and kids in that story. I know they're fictional versions, but still." LMAO.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Nick did come through - too bad he might be too late. I'm glad you liked the guys ribbing Nick about being Howie's power of attorney; I had to try to get some comic relief in there while I could. The part with Howie talking to his kids made me so sad when I was writing it! OMG, that cracks me up about your husband! LOL!

Aww man! This chapter brought tears to my eyes. You've really played with my emotions with these last few chapters. I was all excited that they were back together and then Howie gets sick. You suck! Kidding lol

Oh my...I'm crying so much right now. It's so sad and I want them to have their happy ending.
