Really enjoying this story, it's so well written and has me hooked already. But it'll probably take me a while to get up to date.
Hmm, I'm wondering where Lauren is? And I really feel bad for the boys, what an awful thing to find out and have to deal with.

I read these last two chapters a few days ago but just haven't had the time to sit and write a proper review. It's so nice and refreshing to see a new name writing this kind of story. I loved how emotion packed the first two chapters have been. Your descriptions made it very easy to visualize what was happening and it all seemed very realistic. I loved AJ's reaction and how he refused to believe it was true. I can definitely see him picking up a phone and calling Kevin first. I'm usually hesitant to read a story that already starts off with one of them dead because I am one of the few people on here that doesn't enjoy killing off the boys lol but because of how beautifully written your first chapter was, I had to keep reading and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to reading more on the weekend.

Your comments about my writing are really encouraging. This is definitely a genre that is out of my comfort zone, so it's nice to know that people are enjoying it. Author's Response: Thanks so much for the "talented" comment. It made my heart swell with pride! I'm not sure how I came up with the idea. I think that I may have been watching a bit too much Castle and/or Criminal Minds.

This broke my heart but in a great and gripping way. This is coming off as incredibly realistic, down to Nick not listing his parents as next of kin, sad as that is. I wonder where Lauren is? But yes, great job!
And to answer your question lol, lets just say a lot. To the point where as a joke I started a round robin of oneshots where Nick dies in every one (since he's sort of the go-to for torture/Kenny of Fanfic if you watch South Park lol). I'd guess at least more than ten times. But I love him! LOL. (Sorry I had to delete and resubmit a few times cause it kept cutting my review off.)
Author's Response: I'm so pleased that you're finding it realistic. I'm not going to lie, I think I'm going to struggle the most with Howie's point of view. That's why I'm saving it for last. That's too funny about Nick being the Kenny of Fanfic (I DO watch South Park)!! LOL It's kind of impressive that you've managed to find ten different ways of offing him. :)

This is so sad! :( I mean that as a compliment, of course. I love angst and drama, but god... it kills me to imagine something like this happening for real! You're doing a great job writing the Boys' reactions. I wonder what happened to Lauren; I have a bad feeling about that.
