This was in interesting chapter.It was nice seeing the chemistry all four of them had and poor Nacho, It's a good thing they showed up at the house because who knows how long that poor dog would end up being all alone. It bothered me that they paused to read the song lyrics and actually thought about recording them with Nick's vocals while the poor guy is still laying dead in the morgue (supposedly) I'm still not convinced he's in the morgue. I'm glad you challenged yourself to write Howie more into this one. It's so funny that so many of us have a hard time writing in his POV. I agree with you about him being a little too calm sometimes. I am sure he's blown up like that more than once. I believe he has a hothead gene in that body somewhere. on a comical note...It took me a few tries staring at the code with my American eyes to get Brian's birthday I was like "He was born July 50th? What?" lmao
Author's Response: That's too funny about your difficulty reading the date! I didn't even think about it not being in American form! Although, I'm sure that Nick would have used American form since he is American. Oooops! It's interesting that you're the only person who mentioned the song lyrics. I thought more people would have shared your reaction: "WTF are they doing? Nick is dead!" I thoroughly enjoy the fact that you think that Nick may not be in the morgue. I hope to have an update up soon!

There were so many small details in this chapter that just broke my heart! The fact that Nick still used Brian's birthday as his security code... the fact that they were working on songs together... and the line about Nacho not realizing his "daddy" was never coming home. :'( So sad! It was interesting to see how each guy is reacting differently even now that they're all together. I wonder what the cops will have to say. Reading on!
Author's Response: Awwwww - all of the details that you mentioned almost made me tear up while I was writing them. I'm happy that you appreciated them enough to mention them. I'm really trying to make sure that each of the guys comes across as their own person with their own reactions (i.e. they're all doing more than just sitting around and crying).

Great update....way to leave us hanging! I loved the emotions in this chapter and the easiness of being in Nick's house knowing this was some of the last things he had done, unaware of what laid ahead. Looking forward to the next update!
