What the hell were you thinking Leighanne!?! The guys are in danger and you're going to tweet? This is truly why social media can be dangerous!

Author's Response: Leighanne is pretty connected to her Twitter account. If anyone were to Tweet, I have a feeling that it would be her. I'm sure she didn't do it to cause trouble. She was probably just upset about everything and looking for some attention.

LOL and here's my face of not surprise at Leighanne being the one to almost fuck up everything. Now that the psycho knows they're all alive, let the games begin. I also enjoyed the Boys touching back on maybe fixing old divisions. Just because they're together doesn't mean everything is as it was.

Author's Response: Oh Leighanne ... *shakes head* I love how nobody was surprised that it was her who let it slip on Twitter.

I'm kinda glad the news that it wasn't Nick who was killed made it into the media, if only so that Lauren will know he's not dead. I felt so bad for her! That was so funny when Brian said "It was my wife, wasn't it?" about the Twitter thing because my first thought was Leighanne too LOL. I wonder when whoever's messing with them is going to up the ante, especially now that he/she knows it wasn't Nick.

Author's Response: I also feel badly for Lauren at this point. Although, I'm sure she's relieved that Nick is alive, but now she must be wondering where the hell he is. I think everyone's mind wandered to Leighanne at the Twitter comment - she does use the site more than any of the other wives, so it's a logical assumption.

Sorry for the delay... I just haven't had the time to keep up with my readings lately. ;)

Well, character interaction and plot development... how could it get any better? I like your characterization of Kevin in this chapter--his inclination to take charge shows through, but also his underlying insecurities, which makes me like him more. I found his dynamic with Brian as you portrayed it to be quite interesting, and it seemed likely for Brian to try to see this situation in a positive light, and wanting to fix his relationship with his cousin. I wonder about your citing Kevin's feelings of resentment and whether it would be more believable that he harbours them because he expected a stronger reaction from Brian when he returned, rather than when he left. But then, not all emotional reactions make sense. ;)
I also noticed the detectives' shift from talking about a 'killer' (singular) to 'killers' (plural). Maybe they're just being as general as possible, but I wondered if it means they know more than they are letting on.
I thought it was pretty funny how all the guys were like, 'just disable all our wives' Twitter accounts!' But on a more serious note, things are really not going well for Brian in the Leighanne department, are they? I'm intrigued to know more.

You're providing just enough hints to keep me wondering and guessing... great work!

Author's Response: No need to apologize. I know that life can be crazy at times. It feels like I have had virtually no times for anything myself lately. I find Kevin almost as hard to write as Howie, so I'm quite pleased that you liked how I portrayed him. I like your take on the whole Kevin expecting more from Brian when he returned as opposed to when he left. I never thought of it that way, but now I feel as though you may be right. I wonder what Brian's actual reaction was to his cousin rejoining the group. Twitter annoys me. I wouldn't care if it just disappeared forever. LOL

I love when you write in Kevin's POV. His thoughts on the guys and the situation always get to me the most for some reason. Loved the line "Is this a Kentucky thing?" lol And of course Leighanne would take to twitter to bitch. That sounds about right. I still am not buying the families are safe. They are the best way to get the guys out of hiding. I know if I was a psycho villain, I'd be paying one of them a visit. You could probably guess who! LMAO I'm still thinking there's something slightly off with these detectives too. Maybe I just like thinking everyone is looney tunes bonkers! Being sane is so overrated though! Okay, enough babbling...long story, short - great chapter! hehe

Author's Response: I find writing in Kevin's POV almost as hard as writing in Howie's POV. So, it's good to know that you appreciate how he "sees" things. I couldn't resist taking a small jab at Leighanne's constant Twitter posts. *rolls eyes* If you were a psycho villain, I have a pretty good idea who would be first on your hit list. ROTFL!!

First off, glad to hear Brian is your favorite. Me too! Hehe. Yay for more Brian fans. Coffee actually keeps people awake? I know that black goodness puts me down haha. Oh and... Noooo leighanne stop unintentionally jeopardizing the guys safety. I hope its unintentional. Hehe. Things are just gonna get worse before they get better. I like. Keep up the great work. This story is such a tease. I want more but I am waiting patiently. Well, ish.

Author's Response: Yay for another Brian fan!! There doesn't seem to be too many of us around ... I wonder why that is? My best friend and I have been Brian girls since the very beginning. :) I need coffee to wake me up. I don't know how it can bring you down. Crazy! LOL In reference to the story, things are going to get a lot worse before they get better!!

They haven't followed the rules before! You know what would be really funny? If they were being hunted down and running thinking they were in danger or something and in the end it was just the wives planning a party or something crazy for them the whole time. Like they realize they were never in any danger. And the body gaurds could be the bad guys. A lot of time it is an inside job! As for where I live, New Mexico BSB hasn't been here since 2001 I believe so yeah when I saw them other times it was in Nevada.

Author's Response: Bahahahaha! If that whole party thing were to actually happen at the end of all of this I could totally see AJ losing his shit! So many people are wanting the body guards to be the "bad guys". What does everyone have against poor Joey and Tony?? LOL I hope you have an amazing time at the concert! I've seen the IAWLT tour twice and it was excellent both times. Although, I wish they had played a bit more new material and less of their "hits".
