I agree with Kevin and Howie, why be sitting targets if they can do something to protect themselves. Somebody knows where they are and they need to make sure they're as safe as possible.

Honestly though I'd be curious too to know what CNN was saying if it was me in their situation. Smart of Kevin and Howie to think ahead and realize they might not always have bodyguards and could end up helpless otherwise.
Author's Response: I would have put CNN on way earlier than the boys did! I'm definitely not the most patient person in the world. Good for Kevin and Howie - Always thinking ahead.

I wonder why Leighanne would tweet that. Didn't Rochelle call her to let her know (kind of) what was going on? Oh Leighanne. It does sound like something she'd do though. I don't mind Leighanne, but I'm surprised Brian's not embarrassed by her more often in real life LOL. She has him so whipped. I'm pleasantly surprised that it was Kevin and Howie who came up with the plan to go get weapons! You go, guys! Now that their stalker most likely knows they're still in Tennessee, I bet shit's gonna go down pretty soon...
Author's Response: I know virtually nothing about Leighanne other than what she presents of herself, but there are times when I feel embarrassed for Brian. Maybe he really is embarrassed and he's just really good at hiding it?

Oh, Leighanne! I don't blame Brian for being so embarrassed by her and her shenanigans and of course the reporters aren't helping at all. I don't get why reporters do that in general, I mean they have to realize that the guys are still in danger! I know, they report, that's there job, they are still stupid for doing it though! I kind of hope Kevin and Howie do not tell Joey and Tony they are going anywhere! Oh, and you asked if they come off as mean. I don't feel like they are mean. I feel like they are bad at their job. Not the sharpest tools in the shed lets say. LOL
Author's Response: OMG - You just left me my 200th review!! That's so insane! Sometimes I don't know how reporters can live with themselves at the end of the day. Like you said, it is their job to tell a story, but I feel as though they need to learn when to keep quiet. I can't stand when the media presents damaging information about people ... don't they realize that these are people's lives that they are essentially destroying? LOL - Joey and Tony are definitely a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Poor guys ...

Wow, this was great!
I thought Brian's reaction and way of dealing with the situation was spot on, but I was pleasantly surprised when you had him own up to what he was doing... and I like the fact that Nick had to stand up to him to get him to do it. I think you're doing a wonderful job developing/evolving their friendship.. heck, of all of them. ;)
I'm also liking the plan to go out and get weapons, however wise or not that might be. I guess we'll find out. Maybe they should wear disguises, with this being all over the news, and even people in this small town doubtless having at least some idea of who the BSB are.
Well, I'm off to read your latest chapter. So glad you're continuing to write!
Author's Response: I enjoyed flipping their roles during that exchange. It felt nice to write Nick as the reasonable one and Brian as the whiner. The idea of Kevin and Howie trooping into town in disguises just made me crack up. Knowing the two of them, their disguises would probably be super lame and not do a thing to conceal their identities.

Excellent chapter. Very well done though Brian did seem a bit kiddish in this one. From strangling someone to sulking? Lol nice range of emotions.
Author's Response: Hahahaha - Brian comes across as being someone who could be totally up one minute and totally moody the next. His range of emotions seems the widest to me out of all of the boys. You're right though, he did come across as a bit of a whiny brat in this chapter. :P

That's it! Kevin and Howie planning out self defence for themselves! After the incident with Tony & Joey, it cant be helped to really think something is off. and with the police themselves not giving much information, something smells too fishy. I just hope they won't be led to a worst situation. but, that too is impossible since the story is just beginning to open up. hehe. Nice of you to mention Leighanne & her twitter posts. ^_^ but, i guess i like Leighanne so for now I really don't understand their problem yet. haha! this is fanfiction anyway, and everything is possible. Author's Response: Good to hear from you again! You know that the situation is just going to get worse from here on out. If it didn't than there would be no story. ;) I find it so funny that everyone is suspicious of the bodyguards and the detectives. Perhaps you're all correct though ... you will have to wait and see.

Author's Response: Howie and Kevin going to buy guns would turn into a massive comedy routine. :) Howie would likely be too scared to pick one up and Kevin would probably do massive amounts of research to ensure that they picked the "best" kind. LOL

Was having a bad day at work. It's nice to know that I can have a good read with an update from you. Poor Brian, embarrassing himself like that. Hehe. So what's tmz saying? Will they be blowing the guys cover soon? I feel like tmz always finds people. Anyway, I do like that bit where Kevin says Brian did exactly what he was supposed to do. I agree. Kind of like a shoot first ask questions later situation they got themselves in. they should stock up on weapons. I feel they need a gun, but I think they'd accidentally shoot each other. Oops. Well I sense more trouble and cannot wait for it. I only love drama in my shows and in my fiction heh.
Author's Response: Sorry to hear that you were having a crappy day at work. I've had way too many of those lately. Ugh! Can you imagine Kevin and Howie trooping into town to buy a gun?? - LOL I think that might counteract the whole "let's not draw attention to ourselves" motto that they've got going at the moment. I agree that they would probably wind up shooting each other by accident in a moment of panic ... although that might add to the drama. More trouble is ahead!! :P
