This chapter was intense! I loved all the action of Brian's escape. I was rooting hard for him to get away and be the one to save the rest of them, but of course it didn't happen. Your writing makes it easy to get inside the characters' heads; I felt so devastated for Brian when he was finally caught. :(

Author's Response: I was rooting for Brian when I was writing the chapter even though I knew that he wouldn't manage to escape. LOL He's my favourite, so I figured that he deserved the big escape scene. Poor guy - he was so close!

I knew both were in on it! I mean who hires bodyguards that come with a recommendation!!! The cops are really doing a bang up job here and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were involved too!

Author's Response: Recommendations are good, aren't they?? *rolls eyes* Someone clearly dropped the ball on this whole security thing. The police are going to have some serious explaining to do.

See? Knew it. Tony can't be trusted either. No one can. Ugh! Poor Brian, he was SO freaking close.

Author's Response: Nobody can be trusted at this point! Brian did an excellent job at trying to escape. Even though I was writing the scene and I knew that he wouldn't make it, I was still rooting for him.

So Tony was involved too huh? And when I said the body gaurds earlier you got defensive. Humph. Loved the stepped up drama in this chapter. I was on the edge of my chair reading this. To think, Brian almost escaped. I wish he would have.

Author's Response: Of course Tony was involved!! You didn't really think that dumb-dumb Joey would be able to pull stuff off on his own, did you?? LOL - I was only defensive to throw you off and it worked! Go me!

I'm so glad you wrote this chapter from Brian's p.o.v.! His escape attempt was rather thrilling, if unsuccessful; very in-the-moment, from the detailed observations at the start to his panic-induced focus at the height of the action. I rather hoped he might succeed, but I knew it was unlikely. I'm glad he gave it his all, even so.

I liked how AJ and Nick tried to warn Brian and give him a chance to escape. They passed their first test of solidarity with flying colours. ;)

I can't help but think, given the assailants' comments, that the boys' indiscretions, especially Brian's, are well known to our villain and will be used against them soon, once they join Howie and Kevin in that cell/room.

I'd better go read the next chapter. Great job with this one!

Author's Response: Poor Brian. He really did give it all he had in this chapter. Originally, I had thought about having him be successful in terms of his escape, but I quickly changed my mind. It just worked out better to have the three of them all be taken at the same time. I'm glad that you were rooting for him though!

Ut-oh! Well looks like phase two has now officially begun. Is it sad that I already have your story mapped out in my head lol visions of Nick being separated from the rest of the guys and having to choose who will be tortured or die first type of a deal. At least if I were a kidnapping psychopath, that's what I'd do. Although I wouldn't kill them, I'd just make it look like I did and she's plenty rich enough and clever enough to do that. Very intense scene there with Brian trying to make his escape!

Author's Response: I wouldn't call it "sad" that you have the story mapped out ... although it does put some pressure on me to make it turn out as good as it already has in your mind. LOL The fact that you know what you would do if you were a kidnapping psychopath is a bit unnerving ... remind me never to get on your bad side!! Bahahahaha!

You really never let your readers down! Satisfied, I am well satisfied with this chapter and hungry for more! haha! Oh wow, the action scene with brian, I can very much imagine how it all happened. Im glad you placed him in that position, and i am hoping for more scenes like that with everyone. :) Now they are off to see the cause of their misery, and nick is up for the time of his life with a fan. haha! I truly cant wait for more, im looking forward for more twists on the plot and revelations on the chapters to come! :D Can't wait!

Author's Response: Hahaha - It's good to know that you are feeling satisfied with the chapter. You can count on the fact that the action is about to heat up and that all of the boys will have to do some serious fighting in the chapters to come. Thanks again for another positive review!

Wow, that action was awesome. I'm scared of big meaty Vinny. At least Brian got one good shot in the dudes nuts. Lol. Ay yi yi though. Now they got all of them. Each chapter just makes me that more interested. I didn't think it was possible, but apparently it is. I feel for all of them though. You had my heart beating fast wondering if Brian was going to make it.

Author's Response: Brian gave it all he had, but it just wasn't enough to get past Vinny and Joey. Vinny is one scary guy. I think that if I came face to face with him I would just cower in a corner and beg him not to hurt me. Hahaha!

Oh man stuff is getting crazy, She finally has all 5 of the guys. This chick is insane. As crazy as it may seem, I can't wait see what happen lmao Great Chapter

Author's Response: It took her long enough to get all five of them. - LOL Sarah is a tad "unstable" that's for sure! I'm glad that you're looking forward to what will come next. :)
