This was really disturbing, Sarah threatening to shoot Brian through the heart. I'm glad he had the reflexes to move just in time, and that was smart of him to just lie there and play dead. That is totally what I would do! Hopefully this means he'll be able to jump up at just the right time and catch the bad guys by surprise!
Author's Response: I doubt that I would have had the good sense to move like Brian did. I probably just would have stood there in terror and let the crazy b**** shoot me. *hangs head* It's a good thing that Brian is braver (or at least has more sense) than me!

Yikes! Getting intense. So, AJ is dead? I was pretty sure he was just knocked out. Hope this all ends soon. I don't know how much I'll be able to take, let alone Nick.
It's kind of like wanting really badly to click to see what happens next, but yet not really wanting to know just in case it's a bad thing. It's how I felt watching The Following. I watched the very first episode and there was a scene with a dog being tortured and I never watched it again, but it was such a good show it got my curiosity peaked where I just skipped that first episode and watched the rest but if there was a time I felt like something oogey was going to happen, I would avoid watching the episode as long as possible.
This is the fanfic version of that right now lol
I have to admit I laughed at the "Are we shooting this idiot or what?" line LOL For some reason I was completely able to visualize that. Poor Brian! Seems like he's being tortured more than Nick.

LOL OMG - I know exactly the scene that you are talking about in The Following. My husband and I sat down to watch the first episode together and when the dog was tortured, I yelled "done!" and walked out of the room. I seriously could not force myself to watch beyond that point and he ended up watching the rest of the season alone. :P For some reason, an animal being tortured hits me way harder than a human being tortured. That being said, I seriously hope that you are able to convince yourself to keep reading (even if you do have to give yourself a little break in-between chapters).

Author's Response: Well, Brian thinks that they are dead at least. You will have to wait until the next chapter to see if they truly are dead. The video feed is still going on, but you won't see the world's reaction for a little bit yet.

Oh man, Brian's instinct sure kicked in right on time. 2 more down. Lots of chaos ensuing there at the end. I just wish the playing field would be a bit more even. Can't Joey or Vinny get shot down next? Haha. One of the guys needs to get a hold of a gun and at least get one of the bad guys out of the game. Hehe.... I know easier said then done right. I'm excited for what's next though.
