I read these last two chapters a few days ago but just haven't had the time to sit and write a proper review. It's so nice and refreshing to see a new name writing this kind of story. I loved how emotion packed the first two chapters have been. Your descriptions made it very easy to visualize what was happening and it all seemed very realistic. I loved AJ's reaction and how he refused to believe it was true. I can definitely see him picking up a phone and calling Kevin first. I'm usually hesitant to read a story that already starts off with one of them dead because I am one of the few people on here that doesn't enjoy killing off the boys lol but because of how beautifully written your first chapter was, I had to keep reading and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to reading more on the weekend.

As I said with the previous chapter, i love how each of the boys are having a normal day then WHAM. I also really liked how AJ knew exactly what to say to Howie to get him to talk. Glad those fans were normal and helped him rather than freak out or take photos. Poor Howie. Cannot wait for another chapter and to see what the hell happened to Nick and where Lauren is.
Side note: I don't mind the Nick torture either LOL, I have tortured him plenty and I love angst/drama. Great job so far!
Author's Response: I figured that would be the most realistic way to go. That's usually how the news of death is spread ... it just kind of creeps its way in to your normal day. The story will definitely take some turns before it's over.

The last chapter was heartbreaking and so was this one. But I love the angst! (Glutton for punishment...) What a way for Howie to find out and he got lucky those two fans were completely sane. I LOL'd a little at how AJ knew Howie too well and his avoidance tactics. Now that everyone in the group knows, I'm eager to see what comes next.
It's not often I'm this excited for a story by a "new" author. So I'm glad you're here! You should join the forums, we can always use new blood there LOL.
Author's Response: I'm actually beyond happy that you found them "heartbreaking" as I'm taking it to mean that I'm doing a good job. :) My heart jumped a little when you said that you were "excited" for the story. Thanks for that! I wonder what the chances would be of Howie finding two sane fans if the situation were to actually happen? I'm willing to bet that (in reality) he would have found the nuttiest ones of all. LOL Forums eh? I've never actually thought about joining, but I wouldn't mind becoming part of the "community". Author's Response: I kind of thought that the Brian chapter would get to people the most. Simply because of the whole Frick and Frack thing. You will definitely get to find out what happened from Nick's POV. (That's as much as I'm going to say.)

I am not sure why I am reading a depressing story as I have been living in the blackness of depression these last two weeks. I swear you hate me going and killing off my favorite Backstreet Boy, this btw is NOT making it up to me again. Very emotional and raw first chapter. You did a great job with everything, so shocking. I can't promise I will review everything the whole way through right now but I will try.
Author's Response: All I can tell you is that I WILL make things up to you before the story is over. At least I hope you will see it that way. :) Nick was an unfortunate casualty, but his death was necessary for the plot. Sorry!! I really have nothing against the poor guy. Although, it doesn't appear to come across that way.

I love how you have Brian starting his day normal then WHAM. everything comes to a screeching halt, I love that you give each boy the news like this. I also really liked Brian and Baylee's interaction and how he was trying to be strong for Brian, but broke at the end. Amazing job.
On a side note, I too began as a romance writer. Figured You Out was out of my comfor zone and I know how you feel with all the praise this story is getting but it is very well deserved. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Writing the part with Baylee broke me just a little bit. I could totally see him trying to comfort his dad. I'm glad that you enjoyed their interaction. Dear God the emotion in these first 3 chapters. So lifelike...the detail..you can FEEL their pain! I can't wait to get into the grit of this story!! VERY well done so far!!!
Author's Response: First, thank you so much for the compliment about the emotion. I'm absolutely thrilled that you're finding it so realistic. Second, I was trying to decide what shows to have Brian watch and my husband and his friends were in the living room, so I asked them all to name their two favourite shows on Netflix. The Walking Dead and Dexter were the winners, so that's what I went with. LOL (I also love both of those shows). Anyways, I'm going to shake up Brian's character a bit as the story goes along. I just can't bring myself to present him as this goofy, goody-goody, family man. I think there is more to Brian ... I think he may (just may) be a little bit "bad". :)

Okay so I have never tried your writing before but I must say I am a big fan of suspense. Also love that you are showing the guys reactions in each chapter, the way you did that was very realistic. I am happy to see you have offed Nick in thr first chapter, I love that being someone who enjoys angst and drama mixed with suspense. Great job so far!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for giving my writing a chance. The first stories that I posted were romance, which I know is not everyone's cup of tea. However, that genre is my comfort zone and I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to read what I posted. I was so pleased with the feedback that I received that I am attempting suspense in order to push myself to see what I can do. (My friend also urged me to try ... LOL) So, hopefully, people will stick with the story. Anyways, I'm thrilled that you are enjoying it to far!
