I knew as soon as Kevin started texting he had Nick's phone..lol Man, it feels like these two have kinda switched places in this story. Nick is the more responsible one and Kevin is the one fucking up..lol And, Kevin is realizing it! And the line "She mucked me" STILL has me giggling like a fool!
Its always amazed me how it feels like you've crawled in these guys' heads cuz I can always see/hear them doing exactly what you write them doing/saying. Its a gift!
Author's Response: It really does kind of feel like they've switched roles a little bit. Who knew THAT was possible without making them fabulously unrealistic, huh? ...I'm having a lot of fun messing around with them (mucking around with them?)... This story has been simmering for awhile and I'm really glad to finally be getting it posted for everyone to read. That clip of the movie on cruise really helped with a lot of the details of the rewrite. I had no idea Kevin was this fun to write, by the way. I should probably write him more often. lol

Author's Response: hahaha... It just felt like a very "Nick" thing to say at that point. And Uncle Devon HAD to make it, he was like a shining star in the pinnacle of the "how ghetto fab is Kentucky?" tree. And now I've even been to Kentucky to base these observations on like actual fact, LOL. I'm glad I made you get the feels, and I'll take my Kudos. ;)
