As I already said before, I really like this oneshot. I really think that you've captured perfectly Aj's feelings about Kevin's leaving, especially considered hoe much he looked up to Kevin and such.
=) One thing I really like, and even envy, about your writing is how you can capture one moment with few words. It's not easy to do so (and this is coming from someone who uses a lot of words. lol)
And, of course, I can't not love the last part: poor Nick (but also not XD) who got hit by his Frick! lol I'm pretty sure that Brian apologized later in private. Oops! XD
So glad you're back at writing! Sometimes it just takes a short story to get back to being inspired and motivated!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review even though We had spoken in email. Without you encouraging me this morning I'd probably never had finished this story. I am really glad you felt it was realistic. I thought AJ would react to Kevin leaving as if it was his own father. Thanks again for everything.
