I love the fact you made megs mom take brian to see her dad at the graveside. My dad died a long time ago and I myself would really like it if any future spouse did anything like that so he kinda would still be a part of it. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you! It just seemed like the right move. Meg told Brian in The Boys on the Bus that she was closer to her stepdad than her mom, so his going to ask for her mom's blessing didn't feel complete unless he visited her stepdad, whether he was aware of that or not. It was tough to write this scene without making it sappy.
