I loved this chapter; it's been a long time since I've read any good BSB medical drama. The whole exchange with the nurse was great comic relief; I laughed my ass off at the line about Justin Timberlake and the guys looking like they just came out of a Michael Jackson video. I wonder who would have poisoned Howie, if that's what really happened? Great way to end a chapter!
Author's Response: So, I'm kind of having to refresh my memory of this story as I'm reading all of your reviews. HAHA It's a good memory test for me, if nothing else. :P I absolutely loved writing that nurse and I'm glad that you were able to appreciate the humour. I hate when things get too serious for too long.

Howie!!!!
Holy fuck. How does Nick's secret connect with poisoning Howie? I really felt for Kevin wanting to be the big brother and be there for him but realizing maybe Howie needs Nick more.
Author's Response: You'll just have to wait and see how Nick's secret connects to everything. I need to keep you guessing for a just a little bit longer. LOL Kevin really stepped it up in this chapter in terms of his compassion for both Nick and Howie's needs. We'll see if he maintains that attitude as things move along. :P

Aw, no, Howie! How did this happen? I liked Kevins perspective and how he hard he had to work to keep it together. I really wonder just what Nicks secret could be and if it directly relates to this awful event. Ugh I'm so impatient waiting for answers. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Yes, how did this happen to poor Howie?? It will take a while for the cause to be revealed as well as for the answer as to how everything connects to Nick's secret. Hopefully you will keep reading in order to find out. Sorry for the sporadic updating. I have to try and get my writing done while the baby is napping and sometimes that is easier said than done. Haha!
