Hm, so maybe they ARE plotting their next move based on her story?? I don't know... I still tend to think she's involved and just faking the tears. I forgot to mention it in my last review, but I love the subplot you've got going about the guys' competing relationships with each other - Nick, AJ, and Howie all being jealous of each other's friendship with Brian and so on. That relationship dynamics between them are really interesting. It does seem like Brian has distanced himself from Leighanne and that is what is affecting things; it would be nice to see that happen in real life LOL. I don't really mind Leighanne and have found that it helps to suck up to her to get what you want, but she and Brian are so attached at the hip it's obnoxious at times! I'm going off on a tangent LOL, but anyway... reading on!

Author's Response: To add to your tangent, I sometimes feel that Leighanne forgets that she isn't a Backstreet Boy! LOL It's great that her and Brian love each other and have an amazing relationship, but sometimes I would like to feel as though she isn't always hovering around. None of the other wives seem to be around as much. Honestly, I don't think I would even recognize any of the other wives if I were to walk past them on the street (well, maybe I would recognize Lauren in a "that chick looks really familiar" kind of way). Anyways, thanks for the feedback on the relationship aspect of the story - sometimes, that's my favourite bit to write.

Seriously, Brian, sometimes I really wonder if being with Nick lowers your IQ. Of course Kevin wasn't going to wake up only because the chapter of an invented work or fiction said so. *pats his head*
I really wanted to see (well, read) Kevin's reaction if he had been awake and hear Brian and Nick's "explanation". LOL That would have been so funny. I mean, we know that it's true but I can see why both Howie and Aj would react that way.
Now, I've worked out an explanation why everyone always stand by Brian's side. See, in reality Brian is really an alien (that's why Nick loves him so much. lol) and one of his powers is to naturally attract people. Cause, seriously, who can stay mad at that mad? Who wouldn't want to stay or being friend with him? U.U
I'm starting to think that the FBI has something to do with all this situation. 'Cause he's too much of a dick. XD

P.S. Nick has to win. lol Him being Frack is the only reason why I like him. lol As much as I do love Arok, Frick and Frack never go out of style. U.U
As for my desire of Brian getting hurt. Well, since he's my favorite I kinda like torture him. lol Plus, given everything that he's been through during his life, it's kinda interesting to test him, see what else he can brush off. He's such an amazing and interesting character that I'm always buffled by the fact that no one actually see it. XD

Author's Response: Yes, I'm also a bit confused as to why there are not more Brian-centred stories. I think it's pretty safe to say that he's the "second favourite" (with Nick being number one) in the fandom. Perhaps, Brian fans just don't do the whole fan fiction thing. (Although I don't really have an explanation as to why they wouldn't write just as much as Nick fans would). I also think that as a new writer, if you're not writing Nick-centred fic then it would be harder to attract readers. So, that might cause some people who would really like to write about Brian to write more about Nick just so that they will be given a chance. I'm sure the fact that Brian figures so prominently in my group stories turns some people off, but I just write what I want. :P That being said, I wouldn't be totally devastated if AJ were to come out on top as far as the "best friend" situation is concerned. I find A-Rok to be just as cute as Frick and Frack. LOL

Dang now they all know!! Well, with the exception to Kevin. Most all of them know about Ashley now, yikes. Oh btw, thanks for not making me sweat it out too much. 😁
So someone is depending on her "fiction" in order to make their own non-fiction? Things just got a little more complicated. Hehe, love it tho. Howie does seem to be an outsider looking in at times. But he's mostly that quiet guy that lends a shoulder to cry on, or gives some much needed advice. He doesn't need the glory, I'm sure. I'd say he's the wise one. Kevin is too, but he's more of a make peace not war type, ya know. Howie seems more of a neutral party.... LOL ok, random. But just my opinion. Looking forward to the next update. d84;

Author's Response: I agree with your assessment of both Howie and Kevin. However, I often wonder if Howie would like to share in some of the glory. I mean, he's one of the original members of the group ... he must want SOME recognition. The poor guy always gets shoved to the back. I'm willing to bet that one of these days he's going to lose his mind and just go off on everyone!! Haha (I would totally want to be a fly on the wall if that ever happened).
