"Y'all clearly have some other issues going on." LMAO, that says it all! I loved AJ's description of Brian here: "For the first time in my life, I was seeing the real Brian; the one with crow’s feet and thinning hair. This was the Brian who was stressed and struggling to keep up the persona of having a perfect life. This was the Brian who so often came across as a self-righteous prick because he was scared of losing his voice, of losing everything in his life that really mattered to him." That made me sad, but I think there's some truth to it.

Author's Response: I also think that there's some truth to it. How could he not be scared of it all falling apart? Sometimes I feel as though Brian tries a little too hard to convince the world that his life is all roses and sunshine. Just be real, man! The fans will love him for it in the end!

First, I really agree with this line:
For the first time in my life, I was seeing the real Brian; the one with crow’s feet and thinning hair. This was the Brian who was stressed and struggling to keep up the persona of having a perfect life. This was the Brian who so often came across as a self-righteous prick because he was scared of losing his voice, of losing everything in his life that really mattered to him.
This is one of the reason why I adore and love writing Brian because he's such a complicated and affascinated character. Most people tend to stop at the surface and, most of the times, if you see someone happy or who doesn't speak about his problems or the negative stuff, we tend to assume that nothing is really wrong. And I think a lot of times even the Boys themselves didn't realize that there was something wrong with him only because he was still the same Brian, the one happy and focused on making everyone else happy.

Howie.
You're really scaring me here. A sick plot twist would be Howie ending up being the one who is behind all of this, only to take revenge on Brian and making him paying for all the wrongs done to him.
But I don't think that Howie is that clever and smart. lol And I hope he isn't that dick (Nick surely loves to call people "dick"). And boy, Howie, you're gonna feel so guilty when Brian will end up stabbed and seriously hurt.

Author's Response: I'm so happy that we're on the same page when it comes to Brian's character. Too often, I feel as though he's just portrayed as this goofy southern guy without a care in the world. I get that he presents himself as having the perfect life, the perfect wife, the perfect everything, but I really think that he struggles more then he will admit to even himself. I like how he opened up a bit in the documentary. I like seeing the "real" Brian (or at least the most "real" Brian that he's willing to share with the world). Howie as the un-sub would be quite the twist ... I don't know if I could pull that off ... but you will have to wait and see! LOL Thanks so much for the comments (as always). I do apologize for taking so long to update. I've been busy these last few weeks.
