I'm glad Nick found them in time, not to stop Brian from cheating, but to stop him from getting stabbed! Obviously I still think Ashley is a villain LOL. I love the conversation between Brian and Nick at the end of this chapter, especially where Brian admitted he's been trying to live this perfect life and Nick told him he liked him better with flaws because it made him more like Nick. I love that!! Sometimes I wish fanfics were real life, just without all the terrible things happening LOL. (Which is why this is such a great premise for a story, someone bringing fanfics to life WITH all the terrible things happening!)

A little part of me wanted Brian to actually go just a biiiiiit farther with Ashley. In the end, I just couldn't let him do it though. I wimped out!! Awww Nick!! I just love him to bits!

Tell that you have written this chapter only for me. LOL Because this chapter is what I would love to read everyday. Basically, Frick and Frack forever and ever.
(I have tons of slash comments but I'll keep them to myself. lol)
You know... just once I would love to read a story where is Nick the one apologizing for their fall out. Because, yes, a lot had to do with Brian getting married BUT... it can't only be his fault (especially with that Nick using drugs, going out with Paris Hilton...), not only because he kinda abandoned Brian when he had surgery. U.U But that's wishful thinking so I will just have to write it myself. lol
Okay, sorry for the rant. XD It just something that bugs me so much. lol
Back to the chapter, I loved Brian's breakdown. He needed it. And Nick needed to hear that Brian isn't perfect.
They needed that night together. (oops XD).
But Nick was wrong. I like Brian they way he is. And I like him more than Nick. So, no, Nick. XD I don't want Brian to change. But he nailed a point: Brian has always put really high standard for himself, like in a way he needed to be perfect to sort of repay the fact that he had been living thanks to a miracle. And it's not like he thought he never did anything worng. I bet it's the contrary, he kinded pushed and punished himself too hard whenever he did a mistake.
No wonder he had that particular problem with his voice.
Now.... you know that everyone is waiting for the chapter when he gets stabbed? LOL
Author's Response: Well, to tell the truth, I wrote this chapter mostly for me!! LOL Buuuuuut I'm so glad that you loved it!! I could also write about Frick and Frack for ever and ever, but you and I might be the only two people who would read it. HAHA It's interesting that Nick is never the one who is apologizing for what happened. I don't think that I had ever considered that before you brought it up. In my mind it was ALWAYS Brian who was responsible for their falling out. However, Brian didn't seem to distance himself from AJ in the same way when AJ went to rehab, etc.. So, perhaps you're on to something. Maybe it really was Nick's fault ... something to think about anyways. FYI, if you were to write that perspective I would totally read it. :) Unfortunately, the next chapter still won't have the stabbing bit that you're waiting for. Sorry!! I need to draw things out just a little bit longer. LOL

Aw, this chapter hits me right in the feels!
Poor Brian, so torn. I do enjoy the rekindling of Nick and Brian's friendship.
I don't want Brian to be a cheater. He needs to let leighanne know what's up, theeeen, he can do all and every woman out there. I am glad Nick caught Brian before he went into the room with Ashley. And omg, was laughing at the cock block all night baby comment. I can sooooo hear Nick saying that.
Excited to see if Brian actually gets to talk to leighanne about his feelings. Or will the stalker/killer get to Brian first? Great update.

I agree that he shouldn't be a cheater, but stress can cause people to do crazy things. However, I'm pretty sure that if Brian ended up cheating on Leighanne that he would be lynched (or I would be lynched for making him do it)!

Aw, I love a good Brian and Nick reconciliation. It's funny because until the Documentary, I don't think I realized how deep their relationship is. From the time they were inseparable as kids, to being so distanced from each other during that fight, and to see how obviously hurt Nick was and has been by the turn in their closeness. There is a type of relationship there that I have never experienced or seen with anyone else, in a family dynamic, as a friend, even a loved one...it's very interesting. I don't know if any of that made sense. lol Great chapter, I can't wait for more!
