Can I kick Howie? XD Please? XD He's acting like a spoiled brat. And, seriously, if we are talking about trust, let's remember who didn't stick up with Brian during his heart problems. I don't think anyone of them should throw around the word trust and going back their backs. U.U (I'm sorry but I will never forgive them for that. And that's the same reason why Leighanne has an infinite credit with me (aka, she can do and say whatever she wants XD) And I know I'm in the minority because lots of people tend to blame her for everything.
End note: I still think and I'm more convinced that Agent Adams is involved somehow.

LOL, I love Kevin's thoughts as he wakes up, Brian is being an idiot? Yet, Kevin left the hotel without security when there is a crazy stalker that's after them. What's that saying, it's like the kettle calling the pot black?
Also loving the I love Lucy reference, brilliant. I love Kevin blowing up hehe. He insults everyone. No one is left unmarred.
Yikes to Howie though, dude, get over it.
Well if the tour must go on, sounds good to me. I just wonder how Ashley is going to continue with her fiction, and what will inspire the stalker. It's all very exciting!
Weighing in on the different bromances, in my opinion.... Any combo that has Brian in it, works quite well for me. Yes, guilty of being a Brian girl myself. Yay to all of the Brian fans and having an author to write fiction with our star as the main character. You are a pretty equal opportunist as you really let the spotlight shine on all of the guys though, I believe.
I am ready and waiting for your next post, keep up the great work.

I've been following this story from the beginning, sorry it's taken me this long to review (I'm a bad reader when it comes to reviewing). I always get excited when I see an update from you. Normally I just skip over Nick stories (I know... It's like 3/4 of the fandom right there), but yours caught my eye. I enjoyed the last story from you and saw this was a suspense, so I decided to give it a try and have been hooked ever since.
I think you do a good job of writing from each guy's perspective and although this story seems to focus more on Brian and Nick, you don't really leave anyone out.
Personally, I hope AJ wins the best friend battle. I know Frick and Frack came first, but I think A-Rok is better. I just like that dynamic a lot more. Howie needs to get over his resentment of Brian, Kevin needs to wake up and knock some sense into everyone, and Brian needs to get stabbed(why do we like reading about our favorites getting hurt?).
Looking forward to your next update.

It's nice to know that you liked Dodging the Daylight and that you decided to give this one a chance as well. I'm not really a huge Nick fan myself (I'm a Brian girl ... as if you couldn't tell!! HAHA) and although Nick is featured in the summary this isn't a true Nick story. Maybe I should have specified that ... OOOOPS! Although, knowing this fandom, that probably would have stopped a lot of people from clicking on the link. I actually can't decide if I like Frick and Frack more than A-Rok. It's kind of a tie for me. However, I DO think that there is something extra sweet about the whole Brian and AJ dynamic. I still don't know who's going to win the battle. I'll just have to see where the story takes me! You're the third person to comment that you're excited for Brian to get hurt. The poor guy!! LOL

I feel like I should be sorry for Howie: being replaced, and knowing it, isn't really a good thing. Although... well, Howie, you should have known it. So, although I feel sorry for Howie, I actually screamed when Nick said "my best friend". *__*
(And, really, Howie: it's not Brian's fault. I'm pretty sure there is someone, out there, who would love to be your best friend. But it's not Nick. Nick is Brian's. U.U)

Rambling aside, I really want to thank you for keeping writing despite the lack of readers. You're really good and your plot is really amazing and interesting. Yes, we Brian's writer might be few but, just like Brian, we are very stubborn. Because, as you said, what really matters is that we love what we write. And that's the very first thing. I might write a genre that really few people love but I love writing slash. ;)
Plus, not everyone can appreciate perfection. XD

Author's Response: Poor Howie! Although, I have to agree with you in the sense that I didn't really feel all that sorry for him. I don't enjoy the Howie and Nick pairing ... even though it may be the case in real life. If I didn't write what I wanted to then I wouldn't bother writing at all. I have to give you kudos for writing slash as I know that it is a genre that people either love or hate. I can imagine that some people who don't appreciate it can also leave you some pretty harsh feedback that is probably very unwarranted. Anyways, I'm glad that you're appreciating my writing and I think others are as well based on the read count that this story is receiving. Finally, if Howie were the lead singer I'm not sure that I would be as big of a fan as I am. It was Brian's voice that made me a fan in the first place ... his smile also helped!! HAHA

I really wanted to see (well, read) Kevin's reaction if he had been awake and hear Brian and Nick's "explanation". LOL That would have been so funny. I mean, we know that it's true but I can see why both Howie and Aj would react that way.
Now, I've worked out an explanation why everyone always stand by Brian's side. See, in reality Brian is really an alien (that's why Nick loves him so much. lol) and one of his powers is to naturally attract people. Cause, seriously, who can stay mad at that mad? Who wouldn't want to stay or being friend with him? U.U
I'm starting to think that the FBI has something to do with all this situation. 'Cause he's too much of a dick. XD
P.S. Nick has to win. lol Him being Frack is the only reason why I like him. lol As much as I do love Arok, Frick and Frack never go out of style. U.U
As for my desire of Brian getting hurt. Well, since he's my favorite I kinda like torture him. lol Plus, given everything that he's been through during his life, it's kinda interesting to test him, see what else he can brush off. He's such an amazing and interesting character that I'm always buffled by the fact that no one actually see it. XD
Author's Response: Yes, I'm also a bit confused as to why there are not more Brian-centred stories. I think it's pretty safe to say that he's the "second favourite" (with Nick being number one) in the fandom. Perhaps, Brian fans just don't do the whole fan fiction thing. (Although I don't really have an explanation as to why they wouldn't write just as much as Nick fans would). I also think that as a new writer, if you're not writing Nick-centred fic then it would be harder to attract readers. So, that might cause some people who would really like to write about Brian to write more about Nick just so that they will be given a chance. I'm sure the fact that Brian figures so prominently in my group stories turns some people off, but I just write what I want. :P That being said, I wouldn't be totally devastated if AJ were to come out on top as far as the "best friend" situation is concerned. I find A-Rok to be just as cute as Frick and Frack. LOL

There is currnetly a lot being written about the whole Nick, Howie, Brian triangle, and I will explore that dynamic a little bit. However, I intend to do that more from Howie's perspective.
