I have to admit that I didn't care for Snape at the beginning of the Harry Potter series but wound up really liking him in the end. This view of his life makes me feel sad for him that even family wouldn't help.

It's cool to see Lily and Petunia as kids and I always thought Lily and Severus were sweet together.
Author's Response: Every time I read the books and imagine the Lily/Severus/James triangle I sit there wondering how the hell she ended up with James HAHA... That feeling is part of what I'm writing this story for, I really want to explore the only way I feel it possibly could've happened, lol.
