Hey, I just wanted to thank you for writing this fic! It certainly brightened up my Valentine's Day yesterday. I think it was a good choice to make it an interlude in your current series... not necessary to the plot, but something to enrich it. Loved Brian's intent romancing and also Meg's inner critique of the insane expectations associated with this day. I truly enjoyed the bedroom scene--it was real, but tasteful, and just so wonderfully intimate. Great work! And happy belated Valentine's Day!
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate your always reviewing. :) This was fun to write because it is just straight-up fantasy. I don't like Valentine's Day, either, but this story was just begging me to write it. And I can't mentally get away from these characters (which is going to be so hard eventually because there are stories in this universe that need to be told about other people!), so I thought, "How can I make this work with what I'm writing now?" evergreenwriter83 is really good at that (Sweetest Day Sniffles, for example, is a cute challenge story that ends up driving a HUGE plot point in a longer story).
