Wow, this chapter was intense! I loved the interrogation of Brian - super interesting. I wonder who he would really save... my money's on Nick. Branding him with the word "LIAR" is super messed up... love it! I'm wondering where these guys got a polygraph machine from, and that makes me think maybe the police are involved somehow. Could Nate be in on it? Is that why they're getting nowhere tracking them? Seeing your author's notes at the bottom, I'm glad I'm reading this now so I don't have to wait for the next chapter! LOL

I love this story. Just started reading it and it's got me hooked.
I like how you got Brian to tell the truth and kind of reveal that he's not perfect because I feel like sometimes even he forgets that he's not lol
And of course my favorite parts of this story has been the brian and nick moments. I'm a sucker for all that and in the end just want them both to get over themselves and give each other a hug, they're so stubborn and more a like than they think. (oh and I did like the chapter with nick feeding kevin lol that was great)
Can't wait for the next update!

I do apologize for not responding to this review before now, but I've been crazy busy for the last little while and I haven't even had time to log into this site let alone to sit down and write the next chapter. *sigh* That being said, I'm really glad that you're enjoying what I have been able to write so far. Brian and Nick moments are my favourite moments to write (and read), so I'm a sucker for the whole Frick and Frack pairing as well. LOL - If Nick ever fed Kevin like that, I don't think he would live to tell anyone about it. :) Thanks again for the review. Hopefully, I will be able to get back to writing in the near future.

Unfortunately, I have yet to write the next installment as I've been completely slammed with work, and childcare, and social commitments. Basically, I haven't had time to sit down in the past few weeks let alone write. *sigh* My adult life often gets in the way of my fiction. So, I hope you have some patience and that you will stick with me. :) Also, I agree that Brian is a beautiful man! However, I totally think that he has some secrets!! :P

First of all, of course I'm still reading and I'm definetely going to keep reading!
So it was Kevin the one getting shot. Poor Kevin. Nick, your ideas are always the worst ones. LOL But the ones really worst of all are the police: how can they not have any leads at all? Like really? O.o Leighanne, go and make some noise! lol
I actually think that Brian and Rochelle would make a good couple. Sorry Aj! lol
Now it will be interesting to see how the Boys, especially Howie, would react to Brian's answers. And I know who is that one person Brian would save with no doubt. And he was smart not to answer, they were definetely going to use his answer against him in the future, although I guess they already know.
My poor Brian marred. ç_ç And we're not gonna see him shirtless anymore. Come on fans, go and let them pay for this! lol
Author's Response: Woo hoo! I'm so glad to see that you're still reading and taking the time to comment! It means a lot to me, especially because the updates are going to be a bit sporadic. All of this work and life business is interfering with my ability to write. Poor Brian! Things definitely didn't go so well for him in this chapter. I kinda love Rochelle as she seems grounded and realistic in terms of her relationship with AJ and the agreements that they have. WE will see how the other boys react to Brian's admissions ... probably not so well (side eyes Howie). LOL

First off, Nate sucks so bad. I still say he's in on it. Lol, OK maybe he isn't, but I hope he gets fired nonetheless.
Poor kevvy Kev. My Kentucky cousins sure did get it in this update. Um, now Brian really won't remove his shirt anymore. He can always get a tattoo to cover up his branding. Branded him like a cow, how rude. I am wondering who he would save, but I have a guess. But I'm glad he didn't answer. I think, they would have found a way to brand him anyways. I would've been like, just bring it on then. Now people know some secrets about him that I'm sure he wishes he could take back. Sigh.
Maybe the other guys weren't listening in, too busy patching up Kevin. Fat chance right?
Well, as always looking forward to the next update, whether it's in a week, or a month.
Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad that you're still reading! This time of year is always a bit crazy for me, but this year things have been extra chaotic. Ugh! Anyways, yes, the Kentucky cousins did not fare very well in this particular chapter. Brian, especially, is going to have some explaining to do if the boys finally make it out of this. In all fairness, I would totally still appreciate Brian taking his shirt off even with his new branding. I would be able to look past it!! HAHA Thanks again for taking the time to review.
