Wow.
I didn't expect this turn of events. Is it bad if I liked it, though? lol I have the feeling that it's going to be something like putting the groups against each other. Or Howie having to decide who, between Brian and Kevin, would have to die (which, I hope, would lead to him realize how much of a dick he had been up until now.). He did want to have the spotlight, right?
Can't wait for the next update. I like where the story is going. lol
Author's Response: Well, I have to say that I'm glad that you were surprised. HAHA You have also brought up some good theories as to where all of this is headed. Of course, you know that I can't let you know if you're correct, because that would ruin all of the run of reading the next installment!! I hope to have the next update out soon. Good ol' AJ to the rescue, once again. But oh boy has he put himself in a hell of a position. Angelo is growing more sick by the minute. Torture to the max before putting them out of their misery. Hoping the authorities get there before he can put any more of his sick plans to action. Brian is tiny and cute and I can understand why he would want him, but no means no damnit! Carl, end your brother and run!
Baylee is very courageous to want to keep watching. I don't know if I could.
Will the cops miss their mark? I can't depend on them to do anything right anymore. Carl and Angelo have been ten steps ahead this whole time. I am hoping for .... Can't say happy ending, because, how happy can you be? Maybe a beginning to that healing road ending? Lol
One of my favorite updates. Angelo is turning worse and makes for some great drama.
Author's Response: As if there was any doubt that AJ would come to Brian's rescue! :P "No means no" - Bahahahaha - I just had flashbacks to high school assemblies about consent. Too funny! Anyways, yes, Angelo does seem to be getting creepier by the second. Those detectives better get their butts in gear, but it's anyone's guess as to whether or not they will actually make it in time. While Carl probably wants to shoot Angelo in the face and run away, he likely realizes that the guys will come after him if he gets rid of his partner. As much as Carl is worried about Angelo, I don't think he has any desire to die. I'm enjoying getting to the drama (finally), and I'm happy that you're enjoying reading it. I hope to have another update up by next week as I doubt I will have any time to write during the week following Christmas as I'm on vacation, and I will be slammed with family stuff. *sigh*
