What is the end game for these abductors? Money for sure right? One guy sounds a bit more loose in the head though. But that's how it usually goes right? One desperate guy and one completely out of his mind? The nut can usually convince the desperate to do anything. Very persuasive.

Well, I'm sure things are about to get a lot more hectic for our two remaining guys. Where you lead us, I am sure to follow.

Author's Response: Of course I'm going to leave you hanging all weekend!! What kind of writer would I be if I didn't leave you in suspense for at least a couple of days?? HAHA Bodyguards probably would be have been helpful in this situation, but they were only getting together to record a few songs. What could go wrong, right?? I'm sure that's what they were thinking; we're totally safe and want to keep our recording sessions low-key so there's no need to bother Mike and the rest of the boys. If they make it out this alive, I'm sure that they will keep their security around 24/7 for the rest of their lives!! :P One of the kidnappers is definitely a bit more nutty than the other. You've definitely got that right! It's a good thing that you are prepared to follow me as all of your questions will be answered ... eventually. Love reading all of your speculation!! :D

Aaaah! Not Kevin too! And to have left Brian on such a sour note. The nerves of it all is making everyone cranky and they are going at each other instead of being an united front. Never a good thing.

I'm happy to read that AJ is not in the "taxi" .... At least yet, right? Unless AJ is going to be the hero of the story. Maybe he will get to a phone to call the cops. Or maybe he will get to Brian's place in the midst of another abduction. Maybe he will escape again. I don't know but I am definitively excited to find out.

Once again so many scenarios, so many what ifs, so many questions. Will they be united and what are these votes that you have teased us about? Are any of the guys safe from the abductors? Are they planning on killing them all since they don't care that their identity is exposed? Why is Brian and Nick on such hostile ground? Can they put their differences aside in order to get out of their situation, that's assuming all will be captured at some point. I have so many more questions. But I'm sure you are thinking, all in due time! He he. Oh you authors, such teases.... I love it!!!

Thanks for the update, it's nice to get away from the scariness of the real world and read a little fiction.

Author's Response: I LOVE that you have so many questions at this point!! It's nice reading your review and being able to see this story from a reader's perspective. It's nice to know that I've been able to generate some uncertainly and some suspense. That being said, you do know that I'm not going to answer any of your questions, right?? LOL You will just have to keep reading to find out. :) In reference to your real world comment, I woke up this morning to the news coming out of Dallas and all I could do was shake my head. All of this violence; so senseless and so unnecessary.

And, after my nonsense commentary, great chapter as always. I totally dig your decision to use the third person this time: I think it's the best because it gives you the opportunity to show all characther's pov without having to start new chapters. It gives to the reader the whole scene from different eyes so good choice!

Author's Response: I'm glad that you're enjoying the third person narrative. To be honest, I'm kind of struggling to write in the third person as I much prefer first person. However, I felt that this story would be easier to tell from multiple perspectives at once, so I really appreciate the fact that you agree with me. Also, I DID warn you that you may not be too happy with Nick. HAHA :P

Poor Howie. He really is in over his head. Fighting would just leave him bloody and bruised and who wants to be achy on top of emotionally distressed? I wonder if/when all the guys are taken, who would be the one to try and fight back. You can't have five healthy guys vs two guys. Even though the abductors have guns, can't shoot all five guys at a time. Although two may have to bite the bullet for the rest, bring out the straws. Lol

This is great and I look forward to the rest. Hope Howie doesn't stress pass out. Now he knows more guys may be joining him. Uh oh!

Author's Response: Poor Howie, indeed!! I thought about having him try to fight back, but then I changed my mind as I decided that he's just too passive of a person to try and escape. Now, all he can do is wait to find out his fate (and the fate of the others). Out of all the guys, I can see Kevin trying to fight back and possibly Brian. Kevin would just want to be in control of the situation, and Brian would probably think that he's invincible and just go for it (like a dumb-dumb). HAHA AJ would want to fight, but would realize that it's a better decision not to and I'm still undecided about young Nickolas. :P

Uh oh, shit just got real for two more members of the group. And just like men, they would wait so long to start searching for Howie and making phone calls.

Poor Leigh, stuck at home with two children while her man is missing.

Author's Response: Typical male response from team Kentucky in this chapter - Hmmmm, Howie didn't show up today ... maybe we should do something about it?! *face palm* If one of my friends didn't show up to a scheduled event, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't wait hours upon hours to call her husband. Just sayin'!! HAHA I think if Howie is placing his faith in Brian and Kevin to save him, he's in trouble!! TYFTR :)

I don't know what I would do if I was in Howie's situation. But I am fairly sure, my mouth would get me shot. I would like to make it as hard as possible for my abductors. You will have to drag my dead carcass across the snow!

Exciting chapter. I love the sing along in the car BTW. Howie seems the type that would let his guards down when he is alone.

Author's Response: LOL! I don't quite know what I would do in Howie's position either. Although, I'm pretty sure that I would have just stayed quiet and played along like he did. I'm kind of a wimp that way. :P FYI, I was totally singing along to that Selena song on my way to work, so that's why I made Howie do it.

Author's Response: Ahhhhh you can't be angry at Nick already!! HAHA If you are, then you are going to positively HATE poor Nick by the end of this story. I'm still undecided in terms of how I feel about the name "Odin". I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I give them points for being original, but I don't know how it's gonna work out for the kid when he goes to school. :P Ummmmm poor Howie!! Why does nobody care about him?? LOL
