Hi, I know you wrote this a long time ago but I just found it and read the whole thing. How sad!! It's a very touching story, and you're a very good writer.

Just - wow....I honestly dunno what to say....I'd hate to ever lose a siblings -'specially since I've only got one....But, still....I know what it's like to lose a loved one - think everyone can relate to that. I still tear up when I think of my Gramma who passed away in 1995 on her 73rd birthday - which was two weeks after my 11th. Clayton seemed like a really good guy. It's not often you find people like him, who'll go out of their way to help those who need him - no matter what time of day it may be. Um...yeah....dunno what else to say....So.... Peace... ~Lenni~

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I love hearing such great things from readers, but especially about this piece, because it's so close to my heart. Thank you, again.

This was a very emotional story that you have written and I have to ask, was this based on a brother of your's that died? I'm just curious since it is classified as a non-fiction story. Anyway, reading it reminded me of having to experience the death of my best friend's younger brother due to diabetes. My best friend and I are as close as sisters, so when her brother died, I felt like I had lost a brother. This story reminded me of that, but I think you wrote it well. It was a sweet story, but emotional. Good job! [Alex]

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words, they're greatly appreciated. This is a true story, my brother was killed by a 16 year old drunk driver who walked away from the crash unscathed. Writing this story was difficult, but also a bit therapuetic for me.
