It's funny the feedback for this one was so varied. There was a mix of people who completely agreed with mom about being mad with Kevin and how harsh that was and then the other side, defending Kevin for doing that. I don't know where I would fall. It is scary how many kids probably would get right into a car with a stranger.

I think Nick and AJ both learned a lesson there, scary thought though that a child could be snatched from outside the house. And those poor parents who'd got their hopes up about their daughter, so sad :(

Tough job for Kevin and the others though, I bet it's not the kind of job you can switch off from. I'm glad he's going to stay with his mum though, especially now that that sicko is leaving messages on his home phone.

Really enjoying this Mare, it's very realistic, especially with Kevin's family life and the way he goes about his job.
Nick is a sweet little kid and AJ sounds like a handful, but a loveable handful :)

Aw I loved that family dinner, they seem like a close family. Glad that Kevin drilled it in to Nick that helping a stranger can be dangerous, the world isn't always a nice place :(

Making my start for the reading challenge and really enjoying this so far. It's not my usual kind of story as I don't usually read things where kids are harmed/tortured, but as long as Kev and Howie catch the bastard in the end, I'll be happy :)

I was reading this story at work, at uni, at home while I was supposed to be working on my thesis, and reading til 1am because you ended each chapter with a cliffhanger!!! In conclusion, I got little sleep and little work done LOL
Man, I was hooked! You don't really need me to say this was a fantastic story but I'm gonna say it anyway: This was a fantastic story! Thanks for the read! Now off to read the sequel!

Just - ARGH!!!!! I think I prefered the HAPPY ending-lol. This is just too much too soon for poor lil' Nicky. He's still got Kevin Sr. though - right? I can't remember now - though I was SURE they were all living happily ever after. And WHY is Arianna after the Richardson clan? WTF did they EVER do to her???
