Wow, what can I say to this? It has been years, literally, since I have sat down to read a Backstreet fanfic. Broken is such an epic story that I'm glad it has brought me back into the BSB fanfic world. Julie, this was a great story. I had my ups and downs with it, a love/hate relationship if you will. I can't wait to see what By My side has in store - probably more tears and hopefully a happy ending.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks Steph! I said this on the forums too, but I promise the story picks up and gets better... I really hate the beginning of it, but it was important for me to show some of Nick's life before I went and turned it upside down. Still, it took way too many chapters for that to happen LOL. Chapter 12 is where it starts to pick up; Chapter 16-17 is where it really gets "good" LOL. Hope you keep reading and enjoy it! :)
