I think Patty being back in Nick's life is good for him. I feel like as Nick grew up he got closer to AJ and that's why he isn't so close to Kevin anymore, maybe all that he was through had something to do with it. Poor kid :(

Yes, you are correct! Nick and AJ developed a very special bond because of what happened to them but he still loves Kevin too, just seems angry at him all the time! :O( poor little guy! Thanks, Tracy!

What I love the most about this story and the last is that they are so multi-dimensional. There is so much going on in every chapter, but not in a confusing way- in a way that keeps building the story. I am so interested to see how this all turns out. I got a little excited about midway through the chapter at the prospect of a couple little romance subplots (lol) with Nick and Patty and AJ and Stacey, but then I remembered what you said about your female characters and that you have a hard time keeping them around for long. I'm very worried about Stacey, and Patty, well I was worried about her the last story... Also, perhaps the arson investigation is the tie in with AJ? And who is the man Brian is seeing at Anita's? Oh, and I like the Charlie character. I imagine he's pretty "multi-dimensional" himself. See what I'm talking about?

Thanks for saying that! While people were reading, I almost wanted them to get a sense that they were watching a TV show with different scenes all kind of segueing into one another. That's how I pictured this story, as a season of a TV series with one plot moving through until a climax at the very end. It's funny because then a few years after I finished this, Blue Bloods showed up on TV and I instantly thought "They stole my story!"
As far as little romance tie ins, I do have it in me; just never as a focal point. Let's see if I can keep them alive or not evil the entire story though, that's the challenge for me! LOL

OMG! what the heck is charlie doing there??? is he planting a device or something??? now you're making my head working overtime, lmao. And i like how you made Charlie more 3 dimensional now. and as much i hate to admit it...it was nice how he wanted to get Patty and her mom away and live a better life although the way he was going about doing it is just wrong *shakes head* LOL @ Nick being creeped out by Ariana. Truth be told, I about puke when she was flirting with her the other time, eugh. Poor Howie :(

awww!!! Patty is back! And her boyfriend is a total dick-wad! I hope that Charlie doesnt beat the shit out of Nick...although now that he knows Patty is friends with him, it will make things worse I bet. And AJ should propose to Stacy. THey are adorable together! Hopefully she isnt a bad guy too...lol. And I hope Patty isn't..or doesnt get in to trouble...Please update soon...or next Friday I guess! Another amazing chapter
